bought a pair of Skechers trainers from Wynsors in Wigan after 4 weeks the sole on both trainers was getting very worn with the top surface worn through. I have had nothing but Skechers trainers and shoes for the last 10 years and never had a problem. i returned them to the shop who sent them away to be examined by their people not Skechers and they said there is no manufacturing fault but no explanation what is wrong with them. the lady in the shop said its probably wear and tear, i am 70 years old and have COPD and a few joint problems . i would not expect so much wear and tear after 4 weeks use if i was walking 20 miles every day. If you are going to buy Skechers i would get them direct from Skechers then if you have a problem you have a better chance of getting it resolved. KB

Shocking experience, they charge you for delivery then use a courier who they know from seeing previous reviews regularly loses packages . Left on my door step in bright red bag , make sure any passing thieves don’t miss them , then called a secure delivery , not notified of delivery or given a 2 hour slot . Now had 5 hours plus pursuing the issue and no nearer to getting replacement or money back - avoid

I ordered a pair of shoes and was sent the incorrect item. When I contacted customer service I was told I could always return the shoes, which I did. However, I was charged for the return on an item I did not order. When I contacted customer service again and spoke to Amanda who seemed to have an attitude telling me we were going round in circles and for that reason she would terminate the call. All I wanted was the correct shoes or a full refund to reorder the correct shoes.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!! By far, the worst live trading company in this country. Customer service is absolutely HORRENDOUS. Shoes not fit for purpose get sent for QUALITY check, then come back as no refund. Shoes outer skin start pilling off just after 10min normal walk and shops reply is "The shoes have been subjected to unfair wear treatment, not in keeping with expected walking/running". Im finding this also very rude - suggesting in my face that im laying. Even the cheapest, poorest quality shoes should last more than 10min. Wynsors believe their policies overule law, and when challenged just say "go to trading standards". Absolutely disgusting company. For sure i wont be returning customer.

bought a pair of school shoes for my grandson and on the first wearing the surface layer was taken off the toe. This is more than the usual "scuff" you would expect. The shoe was not 'fit for purpose'. My complaint was denied.

Horrible service, unfair practices. Beware of them. They will even charge you for the return label (A4 printout) - they won't refund the full amount you paid for the shoes. I recommend everyone to stay away from this business.

Ordered pair of boots & crossbody handbag. The boots were way when they arrived and the strap on the bag looked flimsy as if it's going to break any moment. Tried to return the goods with great difficulty. To make matters worse, Wynsor World of Shoes charged me £2.99 despite giving my husband run around trying to find Hermes branch willing to take the goods. Unprofessional customer service without any consumer understanding. Stay away from this company, I will never be shopping with them again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a pair of shoes for work, less than three months of wear, 2-3 times a week on carpet they are completely warn out, there is no support in the sole which is also splitting from the upper. Contacted to have a bit of a moan, when they said send them back as may be faulty I thought, fab, anyway after the hassle they have returned them and put it down to wear!!!! Doh!!! That’s what I said at the beginning, I complained at the rate. Anyway no refund or replacement for me. £25 not masses of money but I would still expect them to last longer considering the amount of times that I have warn them. Won’t ever shop with them again.

I Just been to the Oldham branch, i buy school shoes for my 3 boys and usually need 3 pairs every term, and like today my 9 year old has need new pair because hes broken them. The shoes are not that great just like asda and Tesco qualify, but it is covineint to get them quick. My complaint is about the staff, there is three ladies working in Oldham branch, one is the manager. There were no other customers in the store, and you would think, they would give a customer some attention automatically and do their job, what is even more surprising is that one is the manager. I looked at them for about 5 minutes trying to get there attention, but it was hopeless so i had to asks, they all gave me a stare as if i had done something wrong or been rude to interrupt their conversation. Then one of them came and told me that the size was not available, and went back to chat. Then i was looking for another style and couldn't find the size. Again i couldn't get there attention and had to interrupt them and ask for the size and the chubby one instead of comming over shouted from behind the counter across the shop which is anout 5 meters away, that "we only got whats there and if we havent you have to order it". I said you havent even helped me to look for it, then the manager walked away as if she was disgusted and the other lady came and found the size i couldn't find. I paid for the shoes and told them i would complain about their behavior to head office and give them bad reviews, they never apologised and just shrugged. I know there are cctv cameras, and hopefully head office can look in to this. I am looking for no compitition, i collect their loyalty discount stamps but i will never shop at wynsors again.

The shoes that were delivered were far too small to be classed as a 5. As the fault was in the shoe I think it would have been good Customer Service to cover the return postage. I do not see why customers should have to pay for inaccurately sized shoes.

November 2017, took my elderly (82) disabled uncle shoe shopping at Manchester's Newton Heath Branch, during the shop my uncle urgently needed the toilet, upon enquiring where the toilet was he was told '' Sorry, staff use only'' and advised to use the facilities in nearby (250 meters) MacDonald's. Sadly due to his exceedingly slow walking pace and the cold, he didn't make it, he was very upset and embarrassed. Obviously had to curtail his shopping trip. Once I'd got him back to the car he insisted I return to Wynsor's to buy the Sketchers he'd chosen. At the counter I mentioned what had happened, the response was, ( shrugged shoulders) what can we do, store policy! I asked for the head office address to write in, woman serving shouted across the shop floor 'This blokes going to complain about us'! Shop manageress approached with other staff and a chorus of bleating, not our fault, we'll loose our jobs. Asked how they would feel if it was their elderly disabled relative : More shoulder shrugs Not a single concern for my poor uncle. Head office address out right refused, told '' You'll have to check the internet''. Sent a well composed letter by post ( first class sign for ) to date no reply. Shame on you Wynsors
