Avoid at all cost worst customer service known to man , had my laptop 6 months its spent 3 and a half weeks and counting broken , first time they repaired it on the cheap at some place called stone group , came back 3 days later literally blows up sparks everywhere, smoke coming out of it completely bricked , so obviously we'll mithed called acer they said they was gonna repair it this time and because it was a health and safety hazard likely receive a replacement or a refund, few days later sone one from acer calls says it will be a replacement or refund as its health and safety, 3 or 4 days pass not heard out so ring them again , we will look into it for you , again nothing for a few days then recieved a email your laptop is awaiting parts to be repaired lol and now every message goes unanswered or if you ring they deny ever saying they said it would be a replacement or refund even though they record there calls and this has been said a few times , went to trading standards they told me they have to give me the minutes of the conversations between us acer refusing and now saying they conviently don't have that call , honestly avoid this company the customer service is beyond embarrassing, bunch of lairs everyone of them Also read the other reviews clear as day they don't care and lie even though they record there calls still lie through there teeth

Do not buy products from Acer. Laptop suddenly switched itself off and would not restart. Laptop was in warranty, sent to Acer and diagnosed the motherboard fault... no water damage or misuse as Laptop had never been taken apart yet they somehow managed to get out of fixing the laptop, quoted the repair which was more than the Laptop cost then just returned it with damage they had actually caused in their workshop. I would never buy an Acer product and will tell all friends and family about this ordeal after the way we have been treated. The product is faulty and Acer will not repair.

I am quite concerned about a situation my Fiancée is put in. She fairly recently (October of 2020 ) purchased a Predator PT315-52 Gaming laptop with the intention of playing games occasionally, but mostly doing university classes. It worked well for the first bit, but then quickly started to fail during use due to overheating of the CPU. We both have technical backgrounds so we did all the basic troubleshooting and our own tests which tech support would run ie; programs to monitor temps, hardware scan programs etc. We came to the conclusion it was dried up thermal paste on the CPU; which was later confirmed by their tech support. They replaced a few parts inside, ran some tests said it’s good to go and sent it back. Super excited to get back on track in school cause she’s now falling behind, and we would like to play games together because sadly we’re apart right now and that is our only entertainment we can have with each other. She starts to install some things, gets windows to do some updates but then suddenly gets a blue screen of death (bsod). Figured whatever, maybe its some corrupt data due to hardware swaps, do a system wipe. BSODS during that, finally gets through and all is good for a bit, start to install some games, programs. Suddenly it bsods again, again and continues to bsod while doing medial tasks such as switching programs on desktop, she got 8 bsods in the matter of 2 hours. We purchased this premium product with the hopes of being able to stand by the Acer brand and use it with pride. This will have been in the shop for a total of a month, if not longer. The technicians replaced parts, said they tested it returned it to us more broken than when we previously sent it in. They rendered it unusable. The way we’ve been treated by the support teams has been completely ridiculous, she is on the verge of failing university courses as a result of this, and all they can say is “sorry we can’t even check on the progress of your laptop because our network is down”. I’m sorry, but this is completely unacceptable from a company of their caliber. They will have completely rebuilt the product by this time, if it even works at this point. Why haven’t they just cut their losses and sent us a new laptop, it’s been in the shop longer than it has properly worked as advertised. We would have been happy customers, but now we are super upset with due to the fact that she may fail university and be out a lot of money. We can't check progress on the repair cause their websites down, can't call in to get it cause they get it from the same place. They can't get us any info whatsoever and can't give us an eta on when we'll get it back other than "check back in another day or two". I was told I was going to get a call back by one of their supervisors but I never was. They have not offered ANY compensation for the distress this has caused in any way shape or form, they seem to reluctantly want to even talk to us.

Customer service is AWFUL. My laptop was sent in for repair for a screen issue (an inherent issue not due to neglect) in august, and when I recieved it back in September it was still broken. I subsequently sent it back for repair again, and have little to no communication for 6 weeks. The only communication I've had has been through email (which takes a week minimum to reply) on twitter which just says theyll pass your details on, and a foreign call centre which were useless and none of my questions were answered during any of the communication. I recieved an email after an exchange on twitter asking me to pay over £200 for the repair which is an ongoing issue, and the laptop was still in warranty when they recieved it. I am FURIOUS and cannot discourage people enough to stay away from this wretched company.

Acer to start with there customer service is shocking! I've called them everyday for a week now to receive 1 email to verify my I.D? my new desktop and monitor that I paid for 1-2 days delivery has yet to be delivered 4 days after purchase. I've asked for my money back seems a difficult task as well. My advise is search over companies before using acer it may be cheaper but it's not worth the headache! There customer service team will say anything to get you off the phone honestly I've never been so frustrated trying to explain simply I want my order, deliver it or send me my money back surely it makes sense just send an email and confirm or send my order! I actually think the people they employ make things worse.

My Acer laptop developed a broken hinge one week out of warranty, they are prepared to offer a repair but it will be chargeable - I bought an HP instead.

if had the choice to give them Zero ratting I would have, Acer is just know how to con people, I bought Predator laptop from them for £1500 and after their ACER own bios update had damaged my mother board, and when I called them for helping me out, they said I need to replace the motherboard and that would cost me £1650 for just motherboard, are they kidding? I can buy a new laptop for that range . ! all I would say never ever deal with them ever again! hope more people will abandon them!
