“I am most aware of AdGuard when providers ask me to turn it off, notably online newspapers and magazines that deny me access. I always stop reading at this point, rather than giving permission. AdGuard gives me a degree of freedom online. Why would I give an exemption to any provider that wants to deny me this freedom? Today, just about everything online is "monetized." "Support me on Patreon" is the new "Buddy, can you spare a dime?" I'm an artist. I make no money. Yet that's not enough for some people. They want my art for free. But at least I'm not monetized. AdGuard never has to block me.”
