Hi Huntley, how are you? We are now back in Tenerife. We had an amazing experience, we had enjoyed the trip a lot!!. You were right, nothing is like sleeping among the animals in the nature. We did not have special problems, the guide and the cook, were really effective. And we are keeping a lot of memories that we are not going to forget easily. Thank you very much indeed for all your help and advice. I will send you some picture when Juan finished. Best regards from Spain!! I hope we can book another trip with you soon!! Merche

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your answer. I just like to say thank you that you proposed us this awesome tour. We definitely really enjoyed this last 5 days on the tour. We saw a few great places in South Africa and Swaziland. Also we were the lucky guys that we could see so many wild animals in the Kruger Park and in the Rhino Reserves. It was just great and awesome. And everything was good organised and our tour guide knew so many things from the Nature and the history of South Africa. Thank you so much for everything and we can highly recommend this tour for other guests. Now we look forward to our two weeks self-driving rental travels along the Garden Route to Cape Town. Kindest regards from Durban

Dear Andrew, After our return to Hungary, following an unforgettable journey in Africa, I would like to thank you for your service, the up to date information, and the early bird status of course. Our motivation is increasing to continue towards Nairobi perhaps 2 years after. We will see and hope to have enough money and courage. Thanks again and kind regards, Andras and Eva

Hi Huntley. Sorry it took me so long to reply. Thank you so much for all you did to help us during the booking process - our trip went off without a hitch and was absolutely amazing. We were blown away by how good the tour was, even better than we expected and we really felt like we got the best value for money. Everything was well organised, the food was delicious and our tour leaders/cook/driver were great too. You made everything very easy and stress-free. I think our favourites were the overnight stay in Chobe and also in the Serengeti, as well as the friendliness of people in Malawi. I hadn't thought much about Zanzibar before we went but it was also a surprise highlight of the trip! I have included some photos of our tour, but Scott also made an awesome video of some of the things we did on the tour – it’s at http://vimeo.com/80768455 so feel free to watch it if you're interested! Thanks again, hope everything is well.

Dear Andrew, I want to thank you very much for organising our trip to Namibia. It was a great success and we had a tremendous time. The guide was very good. He knew his stuff and ensured that we got the best out of trip. We must recommend the farm we stayed at, it was a bit off the beaten track but it was in most beautiful countryside, like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. We were extremely lucky in that we were upgraded to the luxury rooms as we were the only guests there. We were treated to gourmet four course meals and an off road drive where we saw a large number of animals: zebras, springbucks and orynxes etc. We would also recommend the b&b we stayed in Swakopmund: Meikies. Our accommodation was very spacious and clean and very well furnished. The breakfast (German style) was excellent and the owners were very helpful and hospitable. Once again, thanks you very much for your excellent support and service. We will definitely recommend your company to friends.

Dear Huntley, How nice to hear from you. I still regret that our schedule did not allow us to meet you when we were in Cape Town. Yes we had a terrific trip. The best way to tell you about it would be to mail you the 2 DVDs that I have edited, one of our travels in South Africa and the 20 day overland tour to Victoria Falls, the other the highlights of our time in Nigeria. You will find them quite professional. (I put myself through college and seminary as a photographer and have been a semi-professional ever since.) I have already shown them to the congregation at my church and many others. You would be welcome to use them in your marketing or any way you would like. All I need is your mailing address.

Hi Nicky, Happy NY! How are you? I just wanted to say that the trip was amazing and thanks again for your brilliant help prior to my travels. I don’t know what I would do without you once my original tour got cancelled. I made good friends with Gemma (and others on the tour) and we will both be coming back to Africa for sure. It’s an amazing place with even more amazing people and I already miss it very much!! I gave our guides Martin and Gertie a very good feedback too so happy for you to share the love! I have many pictures as you can imagine so I have to go through them then I’ll send you few. They are such lovely people and so glad they were our guides. I will be in touch once I have planned my year long trip around the world, until then all the best to you and all the happiness in your new married life! Love x

Hey, I'm at the end of my 56 African adventure and just wanted to say a *huge* thank you! I was really impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of all the guides I had (Mat Dry, Christy and Nelius) but especially Mat. He is possibly the most knowledgeable, passionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He added so much value to my trip, he was awesome! I have had a crazy, ridiculously brilliant time with so many highlights it's pretty much impossible to even do a top 10! Sharks, gorillas, the Serengeti, Zanzibar, Lake Malawi... all such amazing places and experiences. I'm really going to miss Africa! The trip was just amazing, I really can't thank you enough..

Hi Huntley, I just wanted to say thanks again! I had the most incredible time in Africa and I cannot wait to go back. It was truly amazing. Thanks for your patience and persistence to help me find a tour that suited me and wasn't sold out! I'm refusing to call it a once in a lifetime experience just because I know I'll be back many more times. Thanks, D

Hi Andrew, In this way, I would like to thank you for your help in arranging a trip for me (from Jo`burg to Durban via Kruger park). I had a great trip, although I wish I was able to do the full trip with the whole group. Nevertheless, the groups was nice. We were with 8, so more than enough space in the truck, what made that we could all see the animals and did not disturb each other. The two tour guides were really nice. The accommodations were great. I slept even 4 nights outside, which one night a visit of an elephant and the next night a visit of two porcupines. Incredible! And we were so lucky with the animals. After two days Kruger, I had seen already the big 5. In the remaining days I have seen much more impressive animals. And my last day I had a swim in the sea at Durban. Now I am back home in the Netherlands. When I arrived, the snow was waiting for me, a big change in weather. It is quite cold here, but I keep the warm memories. Thank you so much for this great experience! I will never forget.

Hi Andrew, Wow! What a journey...mostly fantastic...the highlights being the Katuuso School Opening in Uganda, Masai Mara in Kenya and the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Zanzibar beaches. The down side being...I was bitten by a monkey and a turtle and a beetle tried to nest in my navel on the ferry from Zanzibar!!! But all good and caused a lot of laughs. The bad news is my Nokia mobile phone disappeared from my room 37 at the Sunset Bungalows near Kendwa Rocks, North Zanzibar sometime on 11-13th May. Did not realise until we got to Dar that it was missing. Wonder if you could maybe try tracking it down? Of course it has hundreds of my contacts and I am going to be lost without those. Our guide Mwangi (I think) was a disappointing Trip Leader, just gave sporadic info and not always around to answer questions or give further info. The cook Moi and driver Nick did an excellent job. Suzi and Rhondda are on their way home with Qantas, I am heading off in a few hours with Emirates. Thanks again for all your help. Take care, best wishes…

Hi Andrew, Thanks for the message! I actually got back to Canada shortly after the tour ended, and now I'm back at school. We loved our time in Africa, especially all the people we met on the overland tour, and wouldn't have changed a thing! Thanks again for all your help. I miss Africa already, especially since I'm on a placement now in small-town Alberta...Take care

Hi Andrew - I am back at work this morning after the best holiday I have ever had. The trip was amazing. Our guide Johannes, his helper Rimson and our translator Tina were all superb. The lodges were fantastic. Moremi Crossing is out of my dreams. I can’t wait to come back - hopefully at the end of May for my birthday. Many thanks for your help and patience with all my emails and questions!

Hi Nicky, I’m so sorry for taking so long to let you know that the Safari was truly amazing. I don’t think we could have had any better tour guides and the whole group has become like a big family. Everyone was so great together. They guides were very knowledgeable and filled us with amazing facts. The food was much, much better than I ever anticipated. I don’t eat that well at home. The trip was far more than I ever imagined. Thanks so much for all your help in selecting the right trip for us. I’m sorry we didn’t get to meet you and take you out for dinner when we were in Cape Town. I should have left more time to explore down there. Anyway, I want to thank you and our tour guides Sammy, Tony & Heini for providing the trip of a lifetime. I would do it again in a minute. What a great bunch of people. Take good care and I will recommend your company to everyone. Take good care and hopefully I’ll be back that way one day. Sincerely

Hi, I travelled with Escape4Africa nearly 2 years ago. A friend was just asking for a recommendation for a tour group, and I gave him your details without hesitation. I'm not sure if you have a place where you collect or display customer feedback, but in case you do, here's what I told him: I used Escape4Africa when I went to Tanzania & Uganda in January 2010. I was really happy with the service, and my contact - Nicky Human - was great, very professional, and very communicative. They were especially amazing when one of my bags got left in a driver's car in Uganda (my camera bag, no less). They helped me track the driver down and get him to bring the bag back to me. I was frantic, and it was only because they are on call 24 hours that the situation turned out so well. I would definitely use them again!

Andrew, I can't begin to thank you for everything you've done to help me with and on this vacation. I'm so appreciative of you always being a phone call away. I know I can be a pain but this group really isn't a good vibe fit for me. I'm going to stay and stick it out and try to enjoy the experience. Somehow I caught malaria! I think it was in the delta. I thought I was going to die! The meds are working fine now and I should be cured by Wednesday. As much as I'd love to wave a wand and change this group of people, I can't and neither can you unfortunately. Thanks again for everything! I will be busy focusing on the experience. Ps. I've begun planning a trip next year for my family. We are expecting at least 10 of us and hoping to book something through you.

Hi Nicky, We had a wonderful time. Our guide and senior cook was Ray N. He said he knows you. All went fairly well and when things didn't go as planned we just chalked it up to the African experience. I will send you some incredible photos. We even saw a Leopard and a huge pride of Lions. I got the only fairly good photo of the Leopard and will enter it in the photo contest. Our driver said it was the first Leopard he has seen in four years! Etosha provided us with 4 of the 5 big five.Chobe provided the final Water Buffalo to complete the list. I took about 3,500 photos. If I were to change anything it would be to provide two nights at each lodge within the national parks. Our time in the delta was wonderful because we had a fantastic place to stay without having to spend long hours on the road for a couple of days. So I would spend more time in Etosha at each lodge and adjust the tour price accordingly. Our first lodge in Etosha was the best lodging and the best waterhole. Chobe was fun and finally Victoria Falls was incredible. I'm glad we booked the extra day. I'm also glad my camera is water and dust proof as I probably got the only good shot of the falls. Everyone else had to cover their camera to keep it dry. I'll send some photos of the falls as well. Stay tuned as the journey continues with photos. In the future we would like to travel up or down the east coast from the Cape to Nairobi. We will book our next African tour through you without a doubt. See Yah

Hi Huntley, Hope all is well you and your family. The Aussies coped very well in Africa thank you. Unfortunately our holiday is over and we are all safe and sound at home today. Back to work on Monday.. It was certainly great to meet you in person also. It is always nice to put a face to one you have communicated with. We had an absolutely awesome holiday. Africa is a beautiful country and the people are very friendly. Not once did we feel threatened in any way, on the contrary, we felt as if we belonged sometimes. One we have photos organised I'll send you a few. Thanks again for helping make our holiday a truly memorable one. We will return to Africa one day. Cheers and keep in touch.

Hi Huntley, I think Africa is still in shock after a visit from us four Aussies. We are now back home and recovering from the trip. Have been home two days now. Flight home was delayed due to the volcano but apart from being a bit tired it was just a long time to get home. The trip was absolutely fantastic. We had a great time. Saw heaps, ate heaps, drank heaps, laughed heaps, just an all round great trip. Almost saw the big 5, missed out on a lion, although we did walk with them and pat them in Vic Falls. The accommodation was amazing in all but 2 places, where it was a little on the poor side but the other places well and truly made up for those 2 nights. Thank you for all your help in organising the tour, it really was just amazing. Glad you liked your little present, we actually were able to find a few stubbie coolers on our trip and we now have some with SOUTH AFRICA and KRUGER PARK on them. Don't worry about the world cup, Australia will win and then you can say that you support Australia and wave around your stubbie cooler!!!!!!! And Koalas. Hope your family is well and if you ever venture to Oz make sure you look us up. Once again from Martin, Dave, Nazz and myself thanks for all your help and it was great to meet you and have a beer. Sorry it was a bit rushed though. Take care and talk to you soon.
