“I have just received the Ari backpack and I could not be happier! I was watching this product last year when it seemed to disappear, so when it became available again recently I absolutely jumped at the chance to buy it. Love that it has handle, shoulder strap but is also a backpack - so easier to carry when you are on the go! But most importantly, it has the luggage slider that is so elusive on many laptop bags or backpacks. This was a key purchasing item for me. I am third time repeat customer of Alf, and I absolutely adore the products! I can fit everything I need into the Ari but the crossbody bag is perfect for a normal handbag and the dumpling suede bag is lovely for a night out. They all fit way more than you think they can!”
“Where do I start? Maybe with the order and delivery process. I ordered a mesh tote, suede grand pouch and ripple carabiner. The carabiner arrived a couple of days after my order but the bags didn’t seem to be moving. I contacted Alf the label and they told me with certainty that they had been delivered and gave me a link to the shipping notification. The link showed the bags had not been sent yet so I replied that there was a mix up and that I wanted a refund. They then told me their bags shipped from overseas, I.e. they drop ship their products, and that they were still on their way.
Almost two weeks after placing my order, my bags finally arrived. To say I am underwhelmed is a vast understatement. They are cheap and nasty and the tote looks like it wouldn’t hold up to anything more than a packet of tissues without losing its shape or something poking a hole in it.
The pouch lining feels so cheap and almost like a woven plastic. It’s crinkly and noisy and definitely not luxe. The suede itself stinks, a really nasty chemical smell that must be a result of the cheap manufacturing.
Having bought my items on sale, I cannot get a refund and definitely don’t want to exchange them for something else from this brand as I don’t expect the quality to be any better.
Don’t make my mistake, skip this purchase. There are cheaper options if this is the quality you are happy with and better quality options out there if this is the price range you are shopping in.”

“The Ari nappy bag is literally the worst nappy bag. For $500 it’s so floppy and loses its shape so easily, not big enough to fit much. Save your money and buy something more user friendly.”
“I love the Dumpling handbag! It's so versatile, and deceivingly large. It fits all my essentials (even my water bottle) and it's great from everywhere to school drop off to a dinner date. I prefer the shoulder bag style but do have a carabiner to add a little luxe to my outfit on special occasions.”
“We purchased Luxe Signature Ari backpack as a gift for my daughter costing around $500. The metal zip failed when the bag was about a year old and by the time it was reported to Alf the label it was just over a year old. They refused to repair the zip at their expense however offered $50 towards a repair that we organised. We had to take it to a local boot maker who replaced the zip with a plastic zip. While functional it doesn’t look as nice as original. After several emails Alf the label did reimburse $50 with proof of the cost of repair which was more than $50. Very disappointed in spending $500 to have it fail on such a short time without a lot of use and what I consider poor backup service from which is clearly a manufacturing fault. I do appreciate it was past their specified warranty period so I guess I should be thankful for $50.
Also they are very poor at replying to emails and require several emails to get responses out of them. If you are considering a purchase have a look at google maps of their “office” at 2/78 Hight street Fremantle. While they refer to their Team I suspect you’re actually dealing with a part time backyard business with little support.
Product is good, shame about the backup and communication.”

“I purchased a $500 bag just over two years ago. Recently one of the clasps broke and I took it to a repair shop who told me they weren’t able to fix it because it is plastic.
I contacted Alf saying that I loved the handbag which was otherwise in great condition and appreciated that it was no longer under warranty but would love it if they could repair it or send a replacement part at my expense because it was in otherwise such great shape.
Three emails over a month have received no response. For a company which sells very expensive bags - made with plastic parts - and provides itself on its sustainability and quality credentials, this is seriously pathetic.”
