“after months of financial worry i came across aperture,they helped me immensely put an affordable plan in place which still left me with money to live on the stress and worry was taking away i could finally sleep at night i never new about this help in the beginning but so happy i found out i now feel there is light at the end of the tunnel”

“Just a quick note as to how aperture have helped me with what felt an impossible situation, the constant stream of letters from the credit card companies stopped and all was resolved in a sensible affordable plan with no more worrying about the post, full marks and thank you for all your help”

“I was put in touch with aperture after getting in debt by allowing my step son to use my credit cards that had very high limits because of my payment history. He didn't pay resulting in Aperture taking over. I feel much more settled knowingthe debt is being sorted by professional people”

“I know how it feels when you shut your self away from your debt. I had crates of debt letter I never opened. Keeping door locked because of bailiffs. But now I feel like so much weight has lifted off my shoulders. From days of bailiff banging on my door. Repossessing and court order. When I had only cans of beans to eat because of debt eating my money quicker than I could save it. I thought it was the end for me. I felt like an broken man. Doesn't matter how much debt you're in, help is around the corner. I took an IVA out instead of bankruptcy! The first couple of years was hard. But by working hard and keep at it. The weight lifted day by day. I followed the rules, I cleared my debt that the IVA couldn't cover (treasury money -HMRC, Court Fines). I paid off my family members and I have only a year left to go. But now I have only got my IVA left once that is completed I'm debt free! It's a long road but with the help of Aperture and the guidance from them you can go a long way to get your life back on track. I know their are some company that aren't up to standards out their but I tell you one thing Aperture is the best decision of my life. No judging, they understand your situation and professional. ???????? Keep going you will get your life back on track. Bailiff stopped! Letters stop and an help from Aperture.”

“If your thinking about doing an IVA this company is fantastic, I give it 10/10 and would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to sort there debt out. I am 3 1/2 years in and looking forward to be debt free in 1 - 1/2 years. I haven't had a problem it's so straight forward and there here to help. I don't no where I would be today without the help from this company”

“The team go over and above to help. I can not thank them enough. I would like to thank Sussie especially - she was amazing. Aperture are always at the end of the phone quickly and efficiently. They answer emails promptly and made the whole process so easy. No question was too small which made the stress of debt seem less worrying and meant we could smile again! “Three and half years ago, all I ever thought about was my debts; I went to bed thinking about it and woke up thinking about it. We didn’t go on lavish holidays, or have a top of the range house or car, our debts built up over a period of years, circumstances, job loss, and interest free credit card to the next interest free credit card until they stop and suddenly wham bam the interest starts to mount up. No spare cash at Christmas, so presents brought from catalogs for my two girls. Money worries, is one of the worst stresses you have to deal with in life and if like me you buried your head in the sand, didn't tell anyone and just hoped some miracle would happen, I can tell you now there isn't a quick fix. The first thing you have to do is admit to yourself there is a problem and it can no longer carry on, the next thing you need to do it talk about it and get advice. So a chat to citizen’s advice, and we decided that the amount I owed was with various creditors so an IVA would be the best route. So they put me in touch with a lovely lady at Grant Thornton / Aperture, she rang me and we spoke at great length and suddenly for the first time in years I felt like I was starting to climb out of the hole I had fell into. She told me to stop paying my creditors straight away, which seemed rather strange as although I had a massive debt I always manged to scrape by and pay them. So the ball had started rolling and the time went quite quickly, so 3 months later was the day I waited to hear if our creditors would agree to the IVA terms. The call came in about 3pm and the answer was yes. I cannot fault the treatment we received from the staff at Grant Thornton/Aperture during these 3 months; they were professional, helpful and never once judged. Fast forward 3 years, and we have just completed our third review, with 2 years to go the time has gone fast. I no longer wake up thinking about debt, yes money is still tight but the living allowance you are allowed is generous and we are better off now than we was before. I also feel happy that I am paying my debt back and by the end of the 5 years I would have paid back 95% of what I owed. Over the three years I have had to speak to the customer services on various occasions, I recently had to buy a new second-hand car as mine had died and just a quick call to Aperture and my mind was put at rest, two month break allowed me to get the car. Best thing I did was pick the phone up and ring Grant Thornton/Aperture 3 years ago. Highly recommend them if you have money worries, don’t stay in that hole, climb out now.”

“I have always found the staff very polite and whenever I phoned with questions/queries they have always been able to help and if they had any doubts then they would find out and get straight back to me which made this process of an IVA more bearable”

“I am just entering my third year of my IVA and the last two years have been the calmest I have felt in a very long time. The decision to enter into an IVA is very frightening and feels like one of the biggest decisions you will ever make, my experience of Aperture was that from the very first phone call they were helpful, supportive and friendly. I was so concerned about my life being 'taken over' but this hasn't been the case at all. What the IVA and Aperture have done is to give me peace of mind and somewhere I can go to for help and advice. The process seems daunting at first and gathering the information to send them seems massive but all you need to do is send them everything related to your debts and they will collate it all and make sense of it for you. Once it is set up you just do an annual review of your income and expenditure and send this to them. The review is not onerous but will enable you to know that you are on track and another year has passed. My only advice to someone thinking of entering into an IVA with Aperture is not to be afraid to ask, don't sit on concerns and worries because they become bigger in your mind, a phone call to them will quickly answer your question and allay your fears. For anyone struggling with debt I would recommend Aperture without hesitation, very quickly you realise that you don't have to be afraid of the phone ringing or the post coming anymore, your debtors will liaise entirely with Aperture and will not ever contact you directly. The peace of mind and knowing that there is an end in sight is worth so much for your ongoing peace of mind.”

“I'd been trying to get control of my deteriorating financial situation for several months using a debt charity, but they eventually said my case, involving personal and company debts, was too complicated for them to be able to help me. They put me in touch with Aperture (Grant Thornton at that time) and I arranged a meeting with an advisor. As well as helping me to compile the relevant information required to negotiate an IVA, the Aperture staff I dealt with throughout the process were very supportive and their attitude helped me to overcome much of the stigma I was feeling about my situation. I'm just approaching the halfway point on my IVA and while money is tight, I am much less stressed about my finances. The prospect of completing the IVA and becoming debt-free is the proverbial 'light at the end of the tunnel'. I'm not sure what would have eventually happened if Aperture (Grant Thornton) hadn't helped me, so if you're in a poor financial situation, no matter how complicated they might appear, I'd recommend their services.”

“I felt very respected when handling my affairs as I had very high anxiety as how this would turn out. Their communication was at a level that catered for my understanding and the difficulties I was going through while trying to make sense of the whole thing and how I got to the level of poor management of finances. They gave me a peace of mind as they did everything possible to make the whole process smooth, comfortable, as they had me in mind which reduced my anxieties, fears about the whole process, which at that time seemed extremely complicated and impossible. I have learnt to live within my means and actually manage well without having to think about not having the things that I would like to have. They gave me a peace of mind and good nights sleep as they looked out for me. I am very appreciative of the work they have done with me and above all the gaining of the skills to manage my money in an efficient and effective way without incurring any debts. Brilliant job!! Thank you to all who were on the journey with me.”

“I found that working with Aperture IVA has been brilliant. They respond to emails and phone calls and it is a relief using their service as a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I am moving through the IVA now and I can sleep again at night. Aperture staff were understanding, never critical or judgemental and helped me every step of the way. Definitely suggest using them.”
