“I would give zero stars but I unfortunately can't. I grew up loving ardenes but now it's garbage. The pictures on there website and displayed in store are disgusting and appalling. The fact that they only selly clothes mean for anorexic small people is disturbing. All of their models look like they are battling eating disorders and it is so sad because they do not deserve that. Yes they have "bigger" sizes but the styles are only meant for extremely thin people so look strange on people who have curves. Even just a little curve. This is actually so sad. The clothing industry is literally so corrupt but Ardene you need to do better. I wish their sight could be shut down for their nearly pornagraphic playboy like sight”
“I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered from Ardene, and my order was shipped in four separate packages. Not only is that incredibly inconvenient, but I never received the first package. It's been over two weeks since I started reaching out to their customer service team, and I haven’t received a single response—no updates, no acknowledgment, nothing.
At this point, I’m beyond frustrated. How hard is it to provide basic customer service? This experience has been a complete nightmare, and I regret ordering from this company. Avoid them if you actually want to receive what you pay for.”

“I went to purchase some items online and when I got to the check out and applied a coupon code it did not show me the complete order total and shipping to be completed at check out I went to use Google pay confirmed my address and hit continue in which again I did not know the order total and the order was completed I hit continue not complete especially since I didn't get a order total. Absolutely unacceptable when I call customer service there was no manger to speak to. I got muted and ingored the first call and had to call back because someone didnt want to do their job. No option to cancel order and the solution giving was to not accept the package and I'll get reimbursed in about 2 weeks time. I also stated that this was theft and the rep I spoke to said "I know" confirming it indeed was theft and unauthorized.”
“I recently had a deeply frustrating experience at Ardene that I feel needs to be addressed. I bought four purses: three at 50% off and one with a "buy one, get one 50% off" offer, which I initially chose not to use. When I decided to take advantage of the deal later, I returned a full-priced purse and attempted to repurchase it under the promotion.
The cashier mishandled the return, giving me a partial refund for a different purse and incorrectly charging me for the new purchases. When I pointed out the errors, the cashier was initially confused and resistant. After a prolonged and difficult discussion, she corrected the mistake but still failed to include the tax in the refund.
To add insult to injury, after admitting her error and processing the refund, she labeled the transaction as “final sale” on the receipt, even though the items clearly were not supposed to be on final sale. Despite being in the wrong, the cashier’s attitude made us feel as though we were at fault for highlighting the issue. It was a frustrating experience, reflecting poorly on both the cashier's competence and the store’s customer service standards. I hope Ardene addresses these issues to improve their staff training and customer service.”

“The cowgirl boots are not made for any women who don’t have stick legs the calf is so small couldn’t even get it halfway up my calf. Fit my foot perfectly but calf is way too small. Can’t return then because they were on sale. They are beautiful boots! I was so excited to get them! Such a waste of money and now I’m sad. They don’t sell them in stores so I couldn’t even try them on”

“I bought 2 pairs of ankle boots, which they said were final sale as they were 70% off. The sizes were wayyyyy off - I usually wear size 6, but they feel more like size 6.5 or 7.

Gotta say though, their sizes are way off...I usually wear a sm-med randomly the size 9 jeans I bought (I tend to buy a 7 in other stores) fit nicely...the med pyjama bottoms were more like an xs? Probably this store should be marketing their sizes as 'Youth' just because obviously teenagers have different bodies than grown adults...and anymore people don't "dress their age" so this is a factor worth considering for their marketing team. Anyhow, the quality isn't bad at all really...and if you just keep in mind you need to order a size or two up, you should be fine. Still giving a lower rating just because I feel that this detail is ignored on their webpage and could be a real cause for concern if you're ordering online for example.”

“I'm glad that I read the reviews to see that I'm not the only one that had a problem with their shoe sizing! I bought a size 10 pair & I'm normally between a 9-10, but these were so damn small I could barely even get my foot into them! I've never once had to buy bigger than a size 10! They have really nice shoes, but be sure to buy at least an entire size larger then you normally wear. Very inaccurate sizes. I do have wide feet, but the width wasn't even the issue. They were just tiny overall. I felt like I was trying on a pair of my daughter's shoes, that's how small they fit. Ridiculous. Sadly, I misplaced my receipt. Bought at Ocean State Job Lot in Massachusetts.”
“Ordered 2 pair of shoes and they are a whole size to small. You can’t even do an exchange through the mail, even when you buy it on line. You have to take your item back to a store and all of the stores are closed in the US. So I guess you have to travel across how many states to even find a store when or if they even reopen. Absolute joke!!! Also skirt for my daughter shows up with tag thru the zipper, so it cannot be zipped up before cutting the tag. Good luck trying that on if you want to make sure it fits.

“The staff at Dufferin Mall location are very rude. They should go to customer service school or the manager should train their staff about customer service. I was at the store one time and saw the shoes that I like. The sign said 50% off but when I went to the cashier the cashier said is only 30% off. I told the cashier the sign said 50% off so the cashier went to the shoe section and came back to say it’s 30% off. So I said I don’t want to take it but went back to the shoe section to check if I was wrong. The sign said it’s 50% off and went back to the cashier and told her about the sign. So she sent another cashier to check it out and she saw that I was right. She said that the sign was wrong but will give me the 50% off. They were not even apologetic about the incident and made me feel that I was the one who made a mistake. It took two cashiers and 15 minutes to cash me out. I wouldn’t recommend this store because of the staff here. Really disappointed with my experience here.”
