“Good afternoon
I wish to mention one of your employees and let her know how much she helped me
CHYNA was duty in Click&Collect on or approx September 6th this year
I was picking up an IDEAL WORLD package
This was only the 2nd time I had used the service
You are blessed to have such a wonderful staff member
Her knowledge of CLICK&COLLECT was so thorough and professional
The service is great and bypasses the need to be at home to get the goods
Glad rags for night out You get me😊🤣💃
Please kindly make sure CHYNA gets this review
Kind regards JULIA 🙏”
“Just got back from Asda chadderton, and had to say a well done to Lucy and Was for the way they dealt with a truly obnoxious customer. They were both calm , professional and more patient than I would have been (and I have been a teacher for 20 years!).
Well done again, and Lucy, especially, keep on smiling. Most people appreciate the job you do and understand why you can't open the tills before the alarm says so.”
“Absolutely hate this, shop .why is there never anyone on checkout. Huge long queues for self check trolleys and basket. Always the same. So slow to get out of .I actually mentioned it to one if your staff who was maning the scan and go which no one was using Man your shop.choas”
“Frustrating place to shop.
The self serve machines are slow!
There's a 4 second delay in the machine actually reading the bar code. When you add up the amount of shopping and customers, that soon adds up to long waiting times. Then there's s no staff to help out. Nightmare of a place”
“On arrival tonight I went to pick up a basket. They were all stocked next to the sanitation area and full of the blue roll people used to sanitize the basket handles and there hands. Later on I seen a staff member hug a customer (he appeared to be his friend) and then shake hands with another person twice during their conversation. He then went on to put items back on the shelves. What good is having control measures put in place if their own staff aren't complying with it.”
“Do not ship here as you will get a slap of £60 fine or even 100 if not paid in 14days for over exceeding the parking time . They are trapping everyone coming into they car park on the CCTV and if exceed time limit . Slap fine given within 4days . Want be shopping here again”
“I called in here a few weeks ago and asked a young man where the frozen corn cobs were. His reply was 'we don't sell them' I then looked in the freezer further and found them! Last week I was in this store and at the fresh sausage fridge. A young man was stocking the fridge and i asked him where the gluten free sausages were. His reply was astonishing. he said just because i was at the sausage fridge I should expect the gluten free products to be at the same place!!! What the hell?? I said i would go to macro and he replied 'ok'. Goodness me how dreadful, are the staff members not trained at this store? Later that week I went to Glasshoughton Asda where the small logo on the sausages was explained to me by a very helpful young lady.”
“I don't shop too much at Asda but I went in today a man packing the fridges I said excuse do you have liver he said gave me the liver very nice man I couldn't find the flour so I asked a young girl where it was I said excuse me where is the flour she shouted 21 I said what is 21 she shouted aisle 21 I said is there aproblem she gave me a dirty look and said I didn't say please or thank you when asking for help I said I thought u happy to help then she was shouting out to supervisor about what I said I'm 60 yes old not an idiot and really upsetting for me to be treated like an imbocile she was young I think new to the job
Other assistance were very helpful and polite and helped me where the customer service no training”
“I recently had an unfortunate experience at ASDA Hulme Superstore in Manchester, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts with fellow customers. There are some serious security concerns that need addressing.
1. Car Safety Issues: The parking area around ASDA Hulme is not safe for cars. Just a few days ago, my car window was smashed, leaving me frustrated and concerned. It’s disheartening to see that the security staff isn’t proactive in preventing such incidents.
2. Security Staff Lapses: I observed a security guard leaving his post for an extended period. After 45 minutes, he returned, seemingly indifferent to his responsibilities. When I asked him to check the CCTV footage, he casually dismissed my request, claiming that the area was a blind spot. But here’s the catch: this blind spot is right in front of the shop entrance! It’s baffling that security personnel would neglect such a critical area.
3. Suspicious Agreement? I can’t help but wonder if there’s an unspoken agreement between the security team and potential wrongdoers. While I don’t encourage theft, it appears that car break-ins are somehow overlooked. It’s as if there’s a cover for those who want to damage vehicles.
In summary, ASDA Hulme Superstore needs to prioritize customer safety. I urge fellow shoppers to be cautious and take extra measures to protect their cars while visiting this location.”
