“Je ne recommande pas cette excursion:
1/ Les photos sont vendeuses mais au final vous vous retrouvez dans un bus de 40 personnes. Ce n’est pas vraiment l’expérience qu’on attend sur Fraser Island.
De plus, les photos ne montrent que le resort de la première nuit mais l’hôtel de la deuxième est d’un standing bien inférieur.
2/ L’organisation est approximative. Les informations données sont floues et personne ne nous à préciser que nous devions faite un check out pour changer d’hôtel le lendemain. Nous avons dû louper la moitié de notre tour sur l’île pour récupérer nos affaires dans le premier hôtel. Le staff nous a précisé que ce type de chose était arrivé pas plus tard que la semaine juste avant nous.
3/ Il a plu des cordes pendant 3 jours. Aucune flexibilité des organisateurs : vous faites le tour comme si de rien était, trempés, en visitant des lieux sans grand intérêt lorsqu’ils sont visités sous la pluie. Nous sommes bien conscients que personne ne peut prévenir une mauvaise météo. Cependant les installations des hôtels ne sont pas adaptés à ce type de météo et les activités non plus. Pourtant l’argent reste bien encaissé alors que vous passez un séjour qui ne vaut certainement pas 800$.”
“Had a great time! The weather wasn’t too good, but it’s understandable wet season. Food on board was good! Felt a bit sea sick but that’s on me. Whitehaven and snorkelling was so much fun. One downside was the social aspect wasn’t too exciting, everyone in bed pretty early as captain turned off lights and music at 10”
“I was hoping to swim with turtles but they took us to deep water instead of shallow weedy area where turtles eat and hung around. We saw many from the boat in the shallow area so I wished if they choose one shallow spot and one deep spot. my dream was to swim with them so I was little disappointed and felt ad was misleading. We saw leopard shark, that was nice.”

“My tour got cancelled on the way to the destination, so ended up spending 7 hours on nothing. That obviously sucked, but it got handled okay given the circumstances, and got 110% commission.”
“I absolutely loved this tour on Fraser Island. Our guide Amy was amazing and we visited a lot of beautiful places and learned something about the island. The only thing that was a bit unfortunate is that there weren’t enough wraps for everyone who wanted a second one. Especially the boys were still a bit hungry. But what I really liked were the little snacks like fruits or cookies on the rides. If you want to make sure you are full just bring some more snacks:) Because the snacks won’t make you full.

“It was a long day and a lot of driving but so worth it. I got to see so many beautiful places in one day (but ofc you can always spend more time at one place). Our driver was so knowledgeable as well and explained a lot on the tour, the food was great and there were a lot of other things included in the price as well, so it was definitely worth the money.”
“Mark was a lovely tour guide and although the itinerary slightly changed due to public holiday we still had a great day touring the Swan Valley wine region and tasting some great wines, gin and chocolate liqueurs!”
“I booked a 3 day K’Gari getaway tour, the pick up location on the drop down list was declined so I called backpackers who contacted the company providing the tour and got the information. The tour company did not send me the information as promised and so backpacker deals forwarded me the information to email especially after the resort I was staying in on the tour randomly sent through a ‘we look forward to seeing you’ email for the wrong dates. It all was sorted and Marianne was very helpful and understanding.
The tour ended up being amazing, but there are a few things that need rectified on the advertisement such as it is not clear that this is a 4WD coach and not the vehicles seen on various other similar tours. Also it states the tour is a maximum of 30 people but the maximum is now 40. It also states breakfast is provided twice but it is only served once on the trip. For leas confusion in future I would likely just book through the original company.”

“Absolutely terrible experience with not enough food, no kayaking, and horrific snorkeling in which we were all forced to be so close to one another that it was not possible to even lay down to snorkel. It was not safe with many members getting injured on different parts of the tour. Would absolutely not recommend as this is the worst tour I have ever been on.”
“Good but the weather was really bad, cloudy for 90% of the trip. Maybe it was better to cancel because when you pay 350$ for a single day you have the right to expect a lot, and for 80% of the time we were just seeing cloud, the fjord were cisible only on the bottom”
“Not enough time to enjoy the buffet dinner on the TSS Earnslaw Cruise + Buffet Dinner. 30 minutes should be added for thix buffet. Now it was experienced as a rushy experience.”
