Customer service is appalling. I had a complain about the sale of some shares, and they had no idea how to proceed. I went in person to a branch and was treated with disregard, rudeness, and arrogance. They didn't even give me the option to sit down and discuss the matter calmly. I asked for the manager to come in, but they told me there was no one at the bank, just two tellers. I wanted to file a complaint, and they refused to give me their first and last names. I don't know how they can be so incompetent, with no empathy for their customers. It's the worst bank I've ever seen.

In Spain, is probably the worst bank you could contract. They have the most agressive penalties for missing even a few days of payment that I've ever seen (I got other 3 baks and no one of them is like this). Also their customer service is terrible, they are not even from spain, they are people hired from south america, so is extremely hard to know if the person who call you is a scammer or not. Also comparing their interest rates and mortage conditions with other banks, they do not even make it to the top 5 in Spain.

I was really worried when my account suddenly got restricted right after I made a withdrawal. It felt like I was stuck and couldn’t access my funds. My account is frozen and no matter what documentation they request it is never enough. The staff must get a sadistic pleasure from this constant obstruction and unhelpfulness.

Nightmare Scenario: Account Closed, Money Trapped, Zero Communication Absolutely appalling and frankly, illegal. Banco Sabadell has inexplicably closed our joint account with my husband, trapping our money, despite us having sent all requested documents multiple times – marriage certificate, pension papers, passports, everything – via various methods, and confirmed receipt on calls. We live abroad, which makes this even more of a nightmare. After weeks of sending documents into a black hole, receiving no answers to our letters, and being unable to reach a human being on any reliable customer service line, we received a threatening letter stating our account was closed due to "lack of documentation." This is a flat-out lie. Our funds are now inaccessible, and the bank offers no avenue for resolution or even basic communication. This is not just bad service; it's a complete failure of responsibility and a breach of trust. How can a bank simply confiscate funds and cut off all contact? Avoid Banco Sabadell, especially if you are a non-resident. You risk losing access to your own money with no recourse. Unacceptable.

Extremely bad and unhelpful bank and they just hang up the phone and tell you to meet in office, you can't do anything over the phone or remotely, there is no communication between them and every time you call, you have to go over everything you just told them once again, if they feel they can't help, they just hang up, they don't even try to help and just leave you hanging. Cannot recommend this bank to anyone, leave it alone.

Try googling Sabadell Bank reviews and look for Trustpilot. Over 1,400 reviews there. Does it give a different impression? Nope. Still 92% at 1 star! Truly the worst bank in the world.

Worst customer service ever! They have confirmed that they have blocked an automatic transfer. This was not done correctly so the transfer was still done. Then I had to call again to cancel it, they have told me that only the office that I have opened the account can do it and they have sent an email to them URGENTLY to recover the transfer back (even if I had to pay for the service 25 euros .. for their mistake) and to not worried because in 24h tops this money will be back on my account. Of course, the 2nd time nothing was done. I have called this morning and they told me they will call me back immediately once they have this reviewed. No one called back of course. I called again (4th person) where I had to repeat myself the 1000 time about the same issue, not only he did not help, he requested a refund to the person (THIS was not requested and not wanted) so I told him to cancel this request because this is not what I wanted and he hung up on me. I called again and an additional person replied telling me that they will speak with the other operator, but they cannot confirm the cancellation for this request as I have to call back. So this is my 4th time on the phone just today, plus yesterday's call all due to NO ONE DOING THEIR JOB PROPERLY. The worst part is that Raquel (the operator from yesterday) told me that we are all human and we all do mistakes.. This is her reaction to the fact that the things were not done properly. Anyways, here I am still on the phone trying to get my money back still. The recordings of these calls needs to be listen for the management to see which is the reality of their operators: disrespectful, incompetent and liars.

The worst bank there is! I ve made a business account with them, they told me my account will be fully functional that day, the next day they blocked my account and start asking for photos of my office and all kind of weird stuff. My business is legit, i work with the biggest real estate developers in Spain, the situation is like this for 2 weeks now. Basically Sabadell bank blocked my business. So, i will never recommend or work with this bank! Stay away from them!!!!

1. Agents refuse to listen and only read first line of emails 2. Agents close cases without investigation 3. No procedure available to challenge decisions. Told on the phone by an agent, you cannot appeal our decisions or make a complaint here. 4. Total chaos in terms of internal organisation (I think it is on purpose to make you give up) 5. For an insurance claim, their ‘professional’ came to the house, looked through a grill with a phone torch and made a ‘professional’, unchallengeable decision 6. Took them 1 year to provide us with a credit card. Still waiting for 2nd credit card despite being sent around Barcelona to pick up a non-existant credit card by the International Hub service 7. Avoid, avoid, avoid
