“My experiance so far with Bankruptcy has been good. I was devistated when I realized it was my only option at the time that I claimed. All staff have been very supportive and understanding to my needs and my case.”

“My trustee had very little concern or compassion. My questions were not answered and I went through the process unsure of the next step. Payment options are limited and inconvenient. Difficult to contact the trustee and when she did respond answered few of my questions. Overall they just seemed concern with taking their share of profit.”

“Have heavy debt load and currently live on CPP-D with no possibility to obtaining another job to pay for debts. Was provided with a summation of my status and given information on how to proceed considering my financial status.”

“The trustees were very nice and organized. They made every effort to help set up the process and explain it to me. what I find difficult are 2 points. One, the net income celing doesn't adequately cover what a family needs to survive, and 2 there is no provision for circumstances other than the irresponsible accumulation of debt. My situation as I know many people's are was due to my husband running off and abandoning us and refusing to pay for the mortgage or any support so we lost our home. Therefore the credit card couselling is in a case like this not relevant.”

“Even though bankruptcy was not something I was expecting to ever have to do, they have made it bearable and pleasant.All of the people that I have talked to have been so helpful and non judgemental of my situation . They listened patiently and helped me. I felt like no question was ever stupid and like they care about the people that they are helping. I would highly recommend .”

“Obviously when anyone is in this type of situation we are nervous, scared and feeling down on ourselves. I would have to say that I have had great help with this whole process and that they have been nothing friendly and accommodating in every way. Having good support is what we need when we are learning how to manage our finances properly and learn to do better than we have always done.”

“I found this site when I was at my lowest from a financial aspect and not knowing where to turn for help. I was embarrassed but this site help me realize I was not alone in this struggle & I felt free to express my concerns regarding a potential Consumer Proposal. I am so glad I found it and the ppl on the site are great encouragement.”
