“This is a wonderful country inn. We stayed for 2 nights and were absolutely delighted. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The meals were also excellent and the staff were all friendly and very welcoming. Would definately highly recommend.”

The location is idyllic with a wide selection of beautiful country walks accessible on foot.The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The room was warm, modern, stylish and spotlessly clean, but it is their attention to detail which takes this hotel to a whole new level with a wide selection of toiletries, coffee and tea making accessories, quality biscuits and chocolate, a selection of local brochures and an intelligently written guide to your stay. The bed was comfortable, the towels soft and substantial with a heated rail on which to dry them. Finally, the breakfast offered a wide selection and was delicious. 10/10 - Highly recommended!”

“Only stayed for one night but received a friendly welcome. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was good too with everything you could wish for. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and very clean. The only thing I missed was a small fridge but as we only stayed one night this was not really a problem. Having stayed in a city hotel the previous night and a country house hotel the following night I can honestly say The Baron was very much the superior stay of all the hotels. If you get the chance please stay there.”
