I wrote to yourselves after the gift I bought came with half of the recipiants name missing, Still to this date I have not received a return email. What I did receive was 5 sales emails wanting to purchase another product, still no reply on initial complaint. After the 5th sales email I responded by Unsubscribing to Beerhunter. My understandanding on UNSUBSCRIBING is I dont want any unsolicited emails from you. Now I receive one asking how I would rate your company. 3 Guesses to you

You sent me a wrong beer and don’t even admit it. I ordered Früch Kolsch Radler 2,5 % advertised on your website. But beer you sent to me is Früch Kolsch natur radler 2,2%. When contacted your customer service was told they have just rebranded the cans and changed the recipe and my ticket was closed before I got to answer back what I did but my email was just ignored. It is correct that Früch has rebranded their cans however the can for Früch Kolsch radler 2,5% is with yellow stripes. The beer you say is the same and sent to me is 2.2% and can is with red stripes. This beer is not even advertised on your website so it is false advertising. Never order from this place again.

Was ordered as a birthday present, got broke in transit. wasn’t told by beer hunter I had to chase up myself! Glass in Replacement was also cracked, very poor!!

Hi Dean, thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that your order was damaged in transit, we have every faith that they will arrive as they are despatched, and I am sorry this has not been the case for you. Our offices are closed at the weekend so we were unable to notify you of the damage until Monday, apologies for the inconvenience with this delay. Still haven’t received my order, was only informed it was delayed but no further updates. I have also not received an apology for the delay. So far I’m extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this company.

Communication was very limited. I ordered a Father’s Day gift which was damaged in postage, beerhunter did not contact me about this and after a lot of chasing up they said a replacement would be sent out with next day delivery. This was on Thursday. The replacement didn’t arrive until late afternoon on Father’s Day. Everybody, including my dad were very disappointed. For customer service to only be an email function which is open weekdays 10-3 is unacceptable. People have jobs. Also your instagram lists an outdated phone number. Surely around a presumably busy time for your business such as Father’s Day you should be contactable in the days leading up to this time.

I have bought a Belgium beer case as a gift for someone. DPD told me the case had broken in transit. Now radio silence! Nothing more from DPD nothing from beerhunter even though I have emailed and left voicemail. I’m extremely disappointed in beerhunter.

I am sorry to say that I was deeply disappointed with the quality of the recent case I purchased from you. Not only were the beers not as I would have expected, but if a glass is supplied then the least the supplier could do is to ensure that it will contain at least the amount of beer contained in one bottle, ie 330 millilitres. The glass supplied did not even hold half of one bottle

Half order turned up. No correspondence regards to why. Chased it up and got an explanation and they informed the second part of my order will be delivered. It turned up wrong again only half of the outstanding order. Again got in touch via email as there phone line has a message sorry the person you are try to contact is unavailable! I’m still waiting for answer from their customer service!!!

I ordered a personalised whisky set as a christmas present which never arrived, lots of back and forth emails and eventually got a refund nearly 4 weeks later. Disappointing.

This item is not a 250ml glass. I ordered two for a Christmas gift and i have received two 330ml glasses. Im sure others would be happy but these needed to be the sizes described to fit in a holder in a camper van. Not only this, i payed £8 delivery to get them in time for christmas. I am now out of pocket, without a gift and customer services are closed until Monday and may not even reply for 48 hours of receiving my email. So i know this will not be rectified in time for christmas. Beyond disappointing.

The ordering was ok and then things went down hill. I paid for next working day delivery and that didn’t happen; when the beer arrived, instead of alcohol free Kastel Rouge, I was sent 8%ABV Kastel Rouge. Another shipment was sent out with the correct beer, but the 8% beer is still awaiting collection. The company did try to put things right and refunded the additional sum for next day delivery, but from beginning to end, this shopping experience has been a disaster. Maybe the company will let me keep the 8% beer as a gesture of goodwill? We will see.

Ordered an Oktoberfest case of augustiner. Paid for and only to be contacted a few days later to say the items are now out of stock and offering an alternative mixed case with none of the beers originally ordered. Politely refused and requested a refund which has now been settled. Would be better if items were shown as out of stock at the point of purchase. Items secured from different supplier without any issues

Hi Neil, unfortunately we were expecting more stock in to be able to send your order, this didn't arrive from our supplier, we offered an alternative Oktoberfest mixed case or a refund, a refund was chosen and actioned immediately. Great to hear you managed to source the beers you required. Apologies for Beerhunter being unable to provide this.

Not Beerhunters fault but I orderd a pack of German beers for a birthday gift. Arrived 3 days too late. The box was battered and not in the Beerhunter presentation box but in a scruffy DPD tapped up one. On inspection by my friend all were wrapped up in bubble wrap and one was missing. I felt embarrassed my friends gift was like this. Sadly it's put me right off buying anything further. Even though I was refunded for one broken bottle ???????

Hello Garry, I am sorry your parcel arrived in this way. We send all our orders out in perfect condition and expect the couriers to treat them in such a way they arrive as sent however sometimes this is not the case. Looking into this it seems that DPD have repacked your order and delivered rather than this being returned to us so we can send out a fresh item. We will be taking this up with the couriers. Unfortunately I had a mare... Delivery turned up 9 day's late.!!! Emailed beer hunter numerous times regarding my late delivery with any reply. DHS delivery service was a shambles too. Will never use again...

Beer is great but customer service fell far short. I placed one order, containing 12 cans each of two different beers. First package arrived with only half the order. Couple of emails later the second package arrived, with the same 12 cans as the first package. More emails (there is a customer contact telephone number but it's just a pre-recorded message telling you to email them, so a waste of time really). Then, a prepaid postage label to return the wrong order. Not having a printer and not having the energy at this point to arrange to have it printed somewhere then arrange to be at home for collection I accepted the incorrect order. Too much hassle. Then I had an email saying they were out of stock of my second part of order but nobody had bothered telling anybody. Hmm, internal comms need sorting. But, thanks to a lady called Sue who did try to sort it out. The next questions are 'how likely I am to recommend Beer Hunter to a friend?' For the beer, a 10, for the service, a 3. It was a birthday present for my husband but the experience ruined the surprise somewhat.

Hello Helen, I am extremely sorry you have had this experience, there was certainly a miscommunication about the stock that had been ordered and I am sorry this happened. The product has now been removed off sale.
