Brilliant customer service, but cancelled my policy the next morning, they managed to save me £1 a month on my life insurance policy with legal and general by swapping me to HSBC but ended up losing £75,000 of the policy total amount 🙄 my advice stick with the policy you’ve taken out already because 12 months later it’s impossible for them to get you a better value deal because your a year older than when you took out the policy, luckily legal and general let me stay with them even tho I was advised to cancel the direct debit with them because the new one had been set up

Very poor. Felt pressed on the call but went ahead as good offer. However, letter arrived and details including date of birth wrong, and information i did not provide incorrectly added.

Awful pushy service. Slow and tedious. Was told initially would not request bak details but insisted. Checked online quotes this morning and half what I was quoted. Unable to contact “advisor” as phone always engaged. Have called and cancelled policy this morning. It was a cold call and I never usually bother with cold calling. Have made insurance company know not happy with this company.

Spent over an hour on the phone with the promise of you offering my same life insurance cover ‘cheaper’. Realised afterwards that to save the couple of pounds you reduced the years of cover! I thought I was still covered up to the age of 90 but you had reduced it by a year and not told me.

I was miss sold the policy with information that was false (I was told my present policy was invalid and could not be claimed upon). I checked with my current insurance company and the policy is valid and valued far higher than your agent told me it was worth and for less a premium than you quoted. I have canceled the policy you sold me and I am very unhappy with the agent from your company who was pushy and misleading. I would not recommend your company under any circumstances.

I said I didn’t have much time they said it’ll be a few minutes but took 30 and once complete they sent all the info with the wrong name on it

Telephone call with agent went well and achieved what we wanted, but then had to register for my account! What a nightmare... It took longer to register than it did to take out the policy - hours, Details and information was incorrectly loaded / copied by agents - impossible to get them back on the phone... more trouble than worth..... consider your options

Frustrating online process unable to confirm contract. However call centre staff amazing and helpful but unable to to fix log in problem. Stayed on phone the whole time and assured me it wasn’t working my end.

Cancelling every life insurance policy I have never known anything to be so challenging and needy in all my life would rather die and leave my family nothing then deal with this again it’s been changed 3 times due to one person saying they can merge with another

Sales agent was not straightforward and used my confusion to apply for a new life insurance policy which I did not want. It’s a long story but an audit of the calls will explain how I felt.

Extremely pushy! Despite being told repeatedly they weren't trying to sell me anything, I found myself being sold a lice insurance policy. I have si ce cancelled the policy. They also told me the monthly cost was exactly £30 and yet direct debit was set up at £34.50?????
