“I have been a loyal customer of Benetton for over a decade. However, my recent experience at a Benetton store in Portugal has completely soured my perception of the brand.
Last week, I purchased winter clothing for my child, including pants and a jacket. Unfortunately, the pants were uncomfortable due to a lack of elasticity. Today, I returned to the store to seek a refund or exchange. To my dismay, I was informed of a rigid store policy that allows only exchanges within 30 days of purchase, with no refunds. Despite my attempts to find suitable replacements, I was unable to do so.
This inflexible policy is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I believe such practices should be discouraged, if not outright prohibited. As a result of this negative experience, I have decided to permanently boycott Benetton products.

I wanted to return a part of my order. The return process was very unclear and strange. I managed in despite of that and got an email confirming that the return package arrived to the warehouse on 3.07.2024. It's been almost a month and I haven't received my money.
I wrote emails and got a reply that they have a lot of returns and I got a code for 10%. I don't want any code, I want my money back. You have stolen 120 € from me.

“Awful customer experience buying online. I have been buying clothes only online last 6, 7 years and I had good experiences and bad ones, but Benetton is different league.
From the moment I finally managed to buy shirts online (first couple of attempts failed due to their web issues) problems started. It says that on their website that order will be delivered between 3 to 5 working days, and when I saw that after 5 working days it is not even shipped I sent email to customer service. Of course few days went by, they never replied and then I tried to call them. Lady answered and she told me completely cold that they have a high volume currently and that I should wait. So currently it has been two weeks since I ordered and hopefully I will get my shirts by end of summer. Hopefully”
“Appalling customer service. Returns are not free at all; they are more complicated than anyone can imagine and that even if the company is at fault for sending the wrong size. No other UK-based company causes such hassle with returns as the law requires them to provide free returns for online purchases. Benetton should be investigated.”

I gave birth a day before my online return request period had ended, and they were not willing to do anything for me to let return!!! Horrible customer service!!!!! “When Benetton are good they are good, but when bad...I keep buying their sweaters, which turn out to be too short, though they look normal on the website (misleading). Return paperwork is either not included or included in part, I have now lost money on a returned sweater that had some paperwork missing (through no fault of mine) which is unrefunded, their customer services are appalling...What adds insult to injury are their hypocritical statements how easy it is to return something. Bad service and getting worse.”
“0 stars for Customer Service, if that were possible. Clothing item very nice, but did not fit right and wanted to return. No paperwork included in parcel. Emailed Customer Service and advised to use returns forms from parcel. None included so rang Customer Services. Woman sounded like she couldn't be bothered. Said they would email me returns slip and pro forma invoice, but never happened. Emailed Customer Service to request again, and no response. Shame as clothes are nice, but will never order from Benetton again. The below bad reviews should put anyone off. I wish I had seen them before.”
“Horrifying experience. I have tried to return my order twice - each time I filled out the relevant paperwork correctly, and each time it has been returned back to me by the courier. United Colors of Benetton have not provided an alternative courier for returning my parcel, and are refusing to refund me until I send it back successfully.”
