“I’ve booked to go dubai a few times with this company never had an issue
This year I was taking my sons dubai for new year
Unfortunately my dad passed away on 13th November, funeral was 8th December then my mum had a stroke on 15th December
I explained the situation to best at travel they was no help what’s so ever about me not going on holiday told me I’d lose 100% of my money
I then asked about changing flight names they said I need to cancel flights and re book. I understand terms and conditions but what about loyalty and compassion id never book with these again
My eldest son stayed back to look after his nan and I took my youngest son. Tried to make the most of it during tough times.
A similar thing happened to my mate last year with a different travel agency and they immediately returned flight money as a good will gesture apparently not with best at travel it’s all about the money. I take responsibility for not have had arranged to correct insurance but I’m confident that a company this size could have done more to help someone going through such a traumatic time”
“Absolute disgrace!!
Tried to do the decent thing and change dates but they didn't even bother booking and have since tried to delay a refund for the cost of the holiday by almost 9 months.
Have booked with them for years and this is how they repay you.
Do not touch with a barge pole! Deserve all they get if they go under.”
