Sorry but I thoroughly disliked the furmint white . The unpleasant acidity completely masked any favourable factors . The Portuguese was no more than satisfactory I’m afraid .

I ordered a couple of taster packs (inadvertently) the reds were perfectly acceptable apart from the Austrian red which was a bit industrial. Postage of £14.99 for a box, seems a tad excessive so I think we’ll stick with who we currently use.

The description made the comparison to a Napa style wine, this was not my impression or taste and I have drunk a lot of Napa wine. It is far from smooth, and rounded. It has a lot of tannins to it making hard to drink on it's own.

Good idea and concept but I’m afraid lacking in the actual wine department. Had been thinking of ordering for a while from targeted advertising and finally bit the bullet. Service was decent enough and arrived quickly but sadly I feel the actual quality of the wine for the price is definitely lacking. I bought 4 different bag in boxes (2 white and 2 red) and all for of the wines were OK but not very tasty. I’ve recently tried quite a few other companies doing bottled and for the same price point (around £12 a bottle) the quality and taste of the wine was far superior. Glad I tried but won’t be back sadly!

Glass bottles have a high carbon footprint and when I read about premium boxed wine, I was sold. And there are many aspects of BIB Wine Company that are good. The website is great, the ordering and shipping was super and the recycling is thought through. Many boxes ticked, the main failing is the quality of the wine. The wine is okay, but offering suggests it is better than that ... and it isn't. Ordered the tasting pack and I liked none of the wines (at any price). I really want to like it, so I ordered the Pinot Noir and I that is pretty good. All in all, I am on the fence, but I will continue to try

Very limited range of white wines, chardonnay very ordinary.

I am terribly sorry to say I wasn't overly impressed by the wines I tried and felt they were over-priced. I am sure you don't want to hear this but I buy my wines from a variety of sources and I do think they provide a far wider choice at a more reasonable price. Sorry!

We ordered a Fleurie and a chardonnay. Both are acceptable wines. The chardonnay compared well with one we had brought back from Burgundy. However, I think they are expensive. I appreciate they last but we would not waste any in a bottle so on a value for money basis I can buy something a lot better for that price and get it delivered free.

I liked the box and the presentation, but I found the wine disappointing. It was perfectly drinkable, but it felt like an "everyday" wine that would cost say £8 from a supermarket rather than the premium wine that the price and packaging would suggest.

Hi Daniel, Thanks for the review and sorry that you didn't find the wine you purchased to your taste. We're obviously biased, but love this wine. The same wine in the bottle (which sells at £16 a bottle instead of the equivalent of £12 with us) has received excellent reviews, including a very high score on Jancis Robinson's website, and we've just sold out of BIBs. That said it's all incredibly subjective. If you'd like a refund and/or would like some advice on which wines might suit your preferences better, please don't hesitate to get in touch on info@bibwine.co.uk. We'd love for you to try again. Cheers, Ollie

Need a cheaper option on postage, don't necessarily need the next day.

The idea of good wine in boxes is a great one but, sadly, only one of the three wines was drinkable (the pinot noir). The others were pretty average and were not of the same quality one would expect if you worked out the bottle price.

Hi Adam, I'm really sorry that you weren't a fan of all of the wines that you purchased. We're really proud of all of the wines that we have chosen, and these three are no exception, having gained both dedicated fans through our site and excellent critical reviews. In terms of pricing all of our wines are priced keenly, and am happy to say that to buy these by the bottle in the UK would set you back considerably more. However, there is a huge variation in style within your order and we completely understand that it's incredibly subjective. We would be more than happy to replace these wines or offer a full refund, please just email info@bibwine.co.uk and we can get started. If you'd like to opt for replacements we'd also be more than happy to advise on what might work better for you. Given that you a fan of the idea we'd love for you to give our wines a second go. Very best, Ollie

Disappointing delivery with incorrect delivery notices. Although a refund on delivery cost promised, nothing materialised in reality.

The concept is great, although I was uneasy about sinking so much money [plus delivery] into a wine I haven't tried. So I've been hanging back from buying. I recently bought a box of Chardonnay, didn't really think it was anything special, so I decidied to blind taste it with a few mates against some wines from M&S and BBR. It didn't fare well, three people agreed with my assessment, and not one of them thought it was worth effectively £15 a bottle if delivery is included. Sorry, BIB, I think your company is great, well presented, good idea, but I don't think my first buy is something I'd repeat. Maybe if you did a taster pack....

Hi James, Not to worry and thanks for the feedback. We offer a full money back guarantee or can offer a replacement if you're not happy with any wine ordered - please email us at info@bibwine.co.uk if you'd like to look into this. We really like the Chardonnay, but of course appreciate that it might not be to everyone's liking and am really sorry that it wasn't a hit with you. We're always here to help advise if you have any questions on a particular wine, and can also help you choose if you're after something particular. Very best, Ollie

First time that I have tried BIB. Felt that buying equivalent of 3 bottles of Red for £36.00, ie £12.00 a bottle without the usual bottle etc, I was hoping for a better wine than we received.

Tried two out of 3 Bibs. Liked very much packaging and concept but unfortunately wine was not very nice. For that price should be easy to find decent wine.
