The tasting offer of £5 is a great idea and the wines included were of great quality and flavour except for the Chardonnay (I dislike chardonnay very much) but because of the quality of the other whites I'd tried in the pack I thought it would be enjoyable, for me it wasn't. I only managed one sip. I've yet to try the reds and Rose as I've been advised to refrain from alcohol due to new medication as a result of a new health diagnosis and I'm rather disappointed. I contacted BIB to advise of my circumstance and that I need to cancel my subscription for the foreseeable future. They replied that I can either pay the full price for the taster pack of £30 or continue with the first order of the subscription so I'll do that and gift it or perhaps keep it depending on dates for when I'm able to enjoy wine again. So for anyone needing to cancel so soon now you know how it works. They've yet to confirm which box I'll be receiving so I'll know whether to keep it or gift so unfortunately I'll be unable to review the wine I do receive as I'm unable to try it.

I was a little confused when I first signed up. I rang the customer service and they were very helpful and clarified my order. Wine arrived as planned.

Good value, very good quality wine in a convenient 2.25l container that helps you pace your consumption and contributes to the environment. We initially tried the Chiroubles - a lovely example of the gamay grape that we'd highly recommend.

I like the wines from BIB. they are clearly amongst the higher prices of this type but the quality is excellent and some of the whites are buttery soft. I keep coming back for more so that’s all that needs saying

Thought I’d try out a recommended wine in a box. I always enjoy the monastrell grape from Spain. However, I was a little disappointed with this particular one. Not as good as Wine Society’s Spanish red or Juan Gil, but at the price, good value. Now keen to try some others.

A hiccup has occurred.The order was not delivered at the appointed time and DPD’s tracking system advised that the wine was cancelled.I spoke to yourselves and was told a new delivery would result.I then received an email notification from DPD saying the delivery would take place next day.A delivery has been made but I don’t know whether it is the first or second! Maybe a second one will arrive……..

Hi William, I am very glad your order arrived! There was a bit of a hiccup when DPD marked the delivery as cancelled, but using their app I arranged for redelivery the next day so there was no need to send out a new order. I hope you enjoy the wines.

Thoroughly enjoyed trying the wines with our friends. Only sour note - when we tried to buy what we considered the star of the show- the Bacchus, it was sold out and apparently although I had ordered from you I was not an existing account holder and could not have bought it anyway. So sad.

Hi Janet, thank you so much for your kind review. I am very sorry to hear that you couldn't purchase the Bacchus immediately after the event. We briefly had a shortage of this wine and when this happens we hold back stock to make sure we can fulfill orders for our Club subscribers. This wine is very much available again for all customers.

I chose 3 boxes of wine from the tasters that I got sent. All wines really nice. BIB delivered a wrong box of wine to me but they sent the correct box after I contacted them. Impressed.

Fantastic tasting session with a knowledgeable and passionate commentary. Some delicious wines and a few great surprises. My only reservation is that the price is slightly higher than I had expected for boxed wine.

Excellent quality wines in a box. If you like a nice glass of wine, but don't want to feel obliged to finish a bottle you've opened, even over a couple of days, this is for you.

Decent quality wine in a box- what a great idea! Before my first order I was unsure about paying the equivalent of around £11 a bottle for boxed wine, but I needn't have worried- all the wines have been of a high standard and the customer service is equally good. Would have awarded 5 stars if range was bigger and availability was better, but it's early days for BiB.

The Karl May Pinot Noir and Field of the Bee White are good value for the price and I would/will order them again. The Fleurie, on the other hand was insipid and lacking in all respects. I had hoped that at 12.5%ABV this wine would remind me of the lovely Strawberry tainted cru Beaujolais of 25 years ago. However it seems you have to settle for Gameys of 14%, which can be fine wines in their own right, albeit over alcoholic for when I'd usually turn to Beaujolais or live on memories. Now trying MoreWine to see what their offer is like, but I do like the convenience and flexibility of boxes for everyday drinking and have absolutely no issue with BIB's service.

Great idea to have good quality wine in a box. If you're like me it means you don't have to drink an entire bottle in one sitting! Only slight criticism is cost of postage. Given a lot of places do "free" postage these days (we know it's never really free) it would be better if it was included in the price.
