The tasting offer of £5 is a great idea and the wines included were of great quality and flavour except for the Chardonnay (I dislike chardonnay very much) but because of the quality of the other whites I'd tried in the pack I thought it would be enjoyable, for me it wasn't. I only managed one sip. I've yet to try the reds and Rose as I've been advised to refrain from alcohol due to new medication as a result of a new health diagnosis and I'm rather disappointed. I contacted BIB to advise of my circumstance and that I need to cancel my subscription for the foreseeable future. They replied that I can either pay the full price for the taster pack of £30 or continue with the first order of the subscription so I'll do that and gift it or perhaps keep it depending on dates for when I'm able to enjoy wine again. So for anyone needing to cancel so soon now you know how it works. They've yet to confirm which box I'll be receiving so I'll know whether to keep it or gift so unfortunately I'll be unable to review the wine I do receive as I'm unable to try it.

I’ve had, over the years, membership of many a wine club; virgin, naked and a popular Sunday newspaper wine club too! The wines are, for the most part, repetitive and quite ordinary. BIB offer some seriously good wine. It’s, as the old beer commercial would say, reassuringly expensive but hey, I’m a teacher (not a lawyer) and it’s accesible enough for me. The best bit is the taste: well sourced wines crafted beautifully that are delicious to quaff. I created a subscription for 4 boxes every 3 months. HA! I’m changing to once a month as it’s both convenient and easy to manage the subscription. I had a small problem that I queried and the owner called me to check I was ok - now that’s customer service. I’m not paid for this review and I have just one piece of advice as I sit here with my Montepulciano D’Abruzzo....go and try the wine. Seriously. If you’re bored to death of M&S / Waitrose....you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Bag in box wines suit me as I am the only drinker at home. The BIB Wine Company may not be the cheapest, but you know the wine will be excellent quality. The taster packs allow me to sample the wines before I choose which one to order. Great service, and eco friendly.

Amazing quality wines for bag-in-box, the Hoch Gruner and the Pecorino have kept me going in this sweltering summer. Also the company's customer support was exceptional when I wasn't going to be available for my delivery.

Thank you for such a kind review. Great to know the Pecorino and Gruner have been going down well... we love them too!

I admit to having a poor palate at the moment due to hay-fever and not getting on with much medium priced wine , however this lead me to try the BIB product in the first place and particularly as it has lowish alcohol also. I found the Muscadet bland and lacking character and the rose rather bitter and lacking charm. Forgive me !.

Hi. I'm so sorry to hear that these two wines weren't for you. Certainly no need to ask for forgiveness - we appreciate all reviews (and fortunately we still love these wines). If you do wish to try again, please feel free to contact us on info@bibwine.co.uk if you have any questions on the wines.

Very good - nice wines - not expensive - have frequent wine tastings on line and send out 100cl samples - all works very well. Postage/Packing organised very well.

My BiB wine journey started with a taster pack to celebrate the birth of my first son in lockdown- a perfect lockdown date night, found after being featured on James Martin and following them on instagram. Since then, many taster packs and a few wine boxes later the BIB wine company are a very welcome part of my life and make it very hard to buy wine from supermarkets again!

My wine delivery did not arrive due to an error by DPD. I contacted BIB and was dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. My order was resent and arrived the next day. Faultless customer service. The wine has also lived up to expectations. I shall be using BIB again and would recommend them to friends.

I LOVE BIB Wine. I love that so many wines are vegan. I love that they come from small, independent vineyards and they plant a tree for every box you buy. I love that it's environmentally friendly. And I love my friends faces when I tell them its wine in a box! Total game changer. Great that it also lasts for 6 weeks after opening... although it rarely lasts more than a few weeks in my home!

The BIB wines that I’ve tried, I have enjoyed. I love the elimination of waste and the lack of environmentally expensive glass involved in the process. Any time I have had reason to contact the company, the replies have been speedy and helpful.

As a faithful organic gardener, soil thinker, and regenerative/biodynamic growing enthusiast (not to mention a huge wine fan) it is very exciting to find a wine company so dedicated to offering some genuinely fabulous wine (selected by other wine lovers and decorated Master of Wine Justin Howard-Sneyd) from growers sharing my own personal philosophy. From their fully recyclable environmentally friendly packaging to their excellently thought through wine, The BIB wine company are ticking all my boxes. I'm currently enjoying their dry, pin-sharp and mega fruity TR Tokaji Furmint 2021. High-definition, focused and versatile. Thank you from a very happy WSET L3 wine dweeb and horticulturist in Shropshire, UK

I love this smooth and elegant Sancerre - having it on tap in the fridge is a wonderful treat!

Conceptually flawless and highly recommended for people whose environmental conscience is stirring, who are no longer comfortable with the thought of shipping the weight and bulk of expensive-to-recycle glass across the world for everyday use. The packaging is high quality but the minimum necessary to contain the contents, and I'm enjoying the wine itself: I'll try some others once I've got through my initial two boxes. Because this is a win for winemakers too (less packaging expense per unit sold), I'd like to see BiB Wine Co. push them to expand the offering available, perhaps even (heh-heh) thinking outside the box in terms of wine styles and origins. For example, Manzanilla or Fino is crying out to be sold in the fridge-friendly format of a box - they are delicious fridge-cold rather than just chilled - but no one appears to be doing this yet. I'm very satisfied with my initial encounter with BiB - I will, as I say, be back for more.

We never fail to be impressed with the wines we have bought from the BIB Wine company. Customer service is top notch too.

Delivery of our very first order was very prompt - and the contents of the box are disappearing with alarming speed! The La Marina Côtes de Gascogne is exactly as described and “dangerously drinkable” sums it up nicely! Thanks for your excellent service. We will definitely buy more in future.

Very quick and reliable delivery. Delicious wine and a great presentation box to serve from. A great talking point to any dinner party and looks great on the table.

Thoroughly enjoyed trying the wines with our friends. Only sour note - when we tried to buy what we considered the star of the show- the Bacchus, it was sold out and apparently although I had ordered from you I was not an existing account holder and could not have bought it anyway. So sad.

Hi Janet, thank you so much for your kind review. I am very sorry to hear that you couldn't purchase the Bacchus immediately after the event. We briefly had a shortage of this wine and when this happens we hold back stock to make sure we can fulfill orders for our Club subscribers. This wine is very much available again for all customers.

The longest and perhaps most important Odyssey of my life has been the search for a partner for my go to no children no wife lunch - the hamburger Holstein. It is a incongruent but brilliant dish and has been hard to pair with wine. The search has been fun but perfection has never been attained, until now that is: BIB’s lastest Portuguese red is bliss on its own right but paired with the Holstein is it is very heaven. Thank you BIB.
