The new "pay for contact" system might prove to be an improvement overall and you will just pay for potential customers that reply and are interested.”

Advert on one advert website (KM) with no mention of a paywall, clicking gets you a very weird redirect from Adzuna and straight into their website, then you get a window asking for your email address to progress further, then once that's done it's a paywall asking you for money without any other details. Just a page telling you pay that much and you may take 10 pot shots at whatever is hidden behind the paywall.
Turns out I am a careful fellow: if I can't see the product that is hidden behind a price tag, I'm not buying. Exactly like I'm not going to put money on the mystery prize at the fun fair.
That was at about 3 in the afternoon. By 7 PM they were spamming my inbox and begging me to come back and give money. That's when I clicked on "UNSUBSCRIBE" many times, but that only sent me back to the paywall. So no option left but to block them from my inbox and block the sender under the "phishing" category.
Quit asking, middle men parasites never get a penny from me.
Meanwhile, Bidvine is getting busy trying to bury my review on Trustpilot...”

“I used Bidvine for the first time 4 years ago. As someone starting out then it was a good place to start to find new jobs. At the time, they had a system of buying bids and using them based on the length someones request and the prices were reasonable. Then 2 years later they changed the system to paying actual money to win jobs and they bumped the prices up, now it made no sense. I could be charged £15 just to approach a customer and they could just ignore me, i’d soon run into a lot of debt. I noticed the drop in the number of people bidding on jobs too, they probably felt the same as me.
Now they’ve changed it again and i think it’s the best system of all. No longer paying to send a bid and only paying if the client makes contact. If they make contact to say no thanks (it happens) then you don’t pay. The system is going to be great for returners but also those starting out. At least if a client responds, they’ve acknowledged you and they think you could be a potential, not just ignoring your request after reading it and Bidvine eating up your £15’s.
