“happy to say these scammers have finally gone bust!
couldnt happen to a more deserving shower of criminals who made up false leads for businesses and charged”
“I’ve read all these reviews and I totally agree . I’ve spent over £100 at £14.40 per lead ! To receive a contact number of mainly time wasters or clients who cancelled the job at the last minute. I think they are a fraudulent company using scammers to pretend to be real customers. Stay well away from them .”
“What's in the box? (behind the paywall)
Advert on one advert website (KM) with no mention of a paywall, clicking gets you a very weird redirect from Adzuna and straight into their website, then you get a window asking for your email address to progress further, then once that's done it's a paywall asking you for money without any other details. Just a page telling you pay that much and you may take 10 pot shots at whatever is hidden behind the paywall.
Turns out I am a careful fellow: if I can't see the product that is hidden behind a price tag, I'm not buying. Exactly like I'm not going to put money on the mystery prize at the fun fair.
That was at about 3 in the afternoon. By 7 PM they were spamming my inbox and begging me to come back and give money. That's when I clicked on "UNSUBSCRIBE" many times, but that only sent me back to the paywall. So no option left but to block them from my inbox and block the sender under the "phishing" category.
Quit asking, middle men parasites never get a penny from me.
Meanwhile, Bidvine is getting busy trying to bury my review on Trustpilot...”
“It seems to work well for the customers but not the trade, being charged £4-£5 to bid on a job that will only take an hour or two just is not economic sense! Eats heavily into any profits on small jobs. With the latest changes you give up your bid money before you've even written a message to the potential client. Seems like a money cash-cow for Bidvine owners! If a client 'cancels' their request, I dont get my bid back because apparently the 'client' has my details and might contact me - Maybe Bidvine should review this process, it's grossly unfair on the trades!”
“Because they make their money from the traders not the public, they don't care about - and do not check - the traders. It is pot luck if the traders are good, bad or total rip-off cowboys. And, in my experience, if anything goes wrong and you are ripped-off, it is your problem not theirs. They will keep the cowboy traders on their books because that is how their financial stream works.”
“It just shocking this company keeps putting prices up all the time. I have spent over £100 not even 1 job. Bidvine should give refund or a discount if you are a small decorator and struggling to make ends meet. But instead they want you to take out bidmatch service which cost £22 a lead even more money. So they can fill there pockets!!”
“This is the worst app. No star! Dont waste your money. This the second time around I am spending over £50 on bids. But get no returns. Most persons dont answer calls or text. And the ones who do answer never go to make a payment. And your money is taken once you uncover a phone number or if someone views your bid, whether or not they sign with you. This cant be legal.”
“BIDVINE LIMITED is a fraud, won't return funds back, any solicitor?
How can I recover my money from them?(£70)
I presume that I'm not the only one that lost their money with them, they getting away with it and getting more people deceived.
Hope their some people more resourceful and can legally take actions!”
“I signed up to bidvine to try and get new leads for my small business which I have just started. Money is already tight but I had been convinced I was guaranteed to gain customers from making multiple bids. After many bids and receiving emails of ‘customers’ requesting me to make a bid, all lead to the exact same response from the so called ‘customers’. Complete waste of money, do NOT use.”
“Read the reviews. Check out their company accounts via Companies House. Just google their name and you'll see they are making a fortune. This is an unethical business particularly at the moment with so many people out of work. DO NOT FALL for them.”
“I went on there as a professional I never got a single customer, despite doing everything they said. Please don't sign up to them. Awful. I put out over 15 bids and not one hire and they kept giving me different advice. ...which I followed and to no avail. .”
“Fake leads. I finished their free trial and my couple hundreds of pounds with nothing. only fame leads.when they open them you lose money. I never use it again”
“I am appalled at this service I was looking for cycling lessons which I really needed I first applied to an instructor locally based of course once I paid the 29 pound student fee that he requested or bidvine requested which ever then he completely blanked me until it was too late to organise some lessons then exactly the same with another instructor only he cancelled at the last minute this service and those 2 are obviously onto a con stay away from this service please look elsewhere disgrace I will be taking this further believe me”
“Despite them trying to put forward this image of them caring about their professionals steer clear. They take far more than any return you will make on them. It's a shame because the app is a good idea and if it was just half the price then it would be worth it for me, and I am lucky as my job as a guitar tutor is higher paying per job with repeat custom. But instead it is a Rip off.”
