“The last course, my son took the teacher that was initially in the course was dreadful. There would be weeks where things wouldn’t get marked, emails were not responded to, and when things came back, the assessment was lacking any proper feedback. Towards the end of his course, the teacher was changed to someone else who was responsive and insured that the rest of the assignments got marked. Albeit he did well in the course. I was very put off by the entire experience. That being said when I did complain to the higher ups and customer service, they did deal with the problem quickly and alerted the teacher that he needed to mark the assignments.”

“My children took two classes from this so-called Academy. There was no feedback on the work besides" great job insert name here" The assignments were not well laid out and thought of and overall this was a big joke. They learned very little and have no teaching pedagogy whatsoever. The one time one of my sons emailed the teacher he said it was too complicated to have a video conference because of his time zone.”

“We only have experience with the online self directed courses. We found them to be outdated and poorly organized. Much of the course work has not yet been graded and some assignments are not even graded, just exercises in frustration. We will not sign up for anymore online courses.”

“Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with the online course my daughter took. Often, she had to wait more than a week for responses to questions she had and when I contacted the instructor by email asking for a phone call there was no response. It ended up taking much longer than planned to complete the course due to the lack of responsiveness. Wouldn't recommend at all but maybe the in-class experience is better.”

“The course itself was fine, however, there were extreme challenges with requests made in light of authentic covid-related challenges and individual education plans. The administration was inflexible and the process outlandish.”

“Very poor response time if any response to problems my child was experiencing. As well booking the final exam was very difficult and time consuming. Plus my daughter had to contact Blythe numerous times in order to submit her mark to her school.”
