“I tried the beef stroganoff, the bourgignon, the lzmb tagline snd the pork Dijon. All were uninteresting and not as good as they used to be a few years ago. However, the saving grace was the veggie lasagne. Truly superb and excellent value. I’m not a vegetarian but this was something else. !!!”
“we have been customers of Booths for years and have noticed a steady decline in standards over the past 3 years particularly at their Poulton store.
There always seems to be a shortage of staff for the checkouts and finding someone to help you locate things is almost impossible.
Shelves are frequently missing everyday items.
We used to look forward to having lunch in the café after doing our shopping but nowadays it is not the pleasant experience it used to be.
The service is incredibly slow and it is not unusual to wait for over 20 minutes for a coffee before trying to find a table uncluttered with dishes that have not been cleared away..
The café itself badly needs redecoration and the furniture would not be out of place in a roadside greasy spoon. Strangely this appears not to be the case in Garstang or Lytham where standards are much higher.
Come on Booths you can do better than this.”
