“Appalling service and patronising attitude toward me when trying to exchange a defective part. The part provided was not working correctly and I asked for a replacement. My credit card was debited again (so I have now paid twice!) and they are in receipt of the returned part yet refusing to refund me. I spoke with the MD who will not credit me until he confirms that the part is not working. I authorised a payment only in the circumstances that I did not return the original part. Most mail order businesses would have put this right, without all this hassle. I'm very unhappy but the MD seems not to care too much. All this loss of faith for £179!”
“Just want to say a massive thank you to Nick and John at AllBoat Services Plymouth .
I contacted ABS to enquire about a self fit stern thruster for my 42 foot motorboat.
Nick kindly went through all the options and then specified a Sleipner SX 80 external pod thruster.
He also greatly re assured me in respect of the Installation and guidance I would need to complete the work.
The level of customer care was outstanding from start to finish .
Nick made himself available 24/7 for advice and help and never once complained about taking a call , not even on a Sunday afternoon when I needed a bit of advice !
During the install we also decided to make the system wireless / remote controlled and to incorporate the existing bow thruster into the system.
The kit arrived within a couple of days and with ongoing support from ABS all was installed and working within a few days .
The system is great for manoeuvrability and is a huge bonus in and around the marina.
I would not hesitate to recommend Nick and John and their team at All Boat Services for their help and assistance .
As they are also installers of all the equipment shown on their website they can speak with great experience and have completed all manner of installations on clients boats .

“Last year we purchased a new Bow Thruster from you to upgrade our Moody Eclipse 43 that was fitted with a 4.1 hp that struggled to maneuver the boat in anything more than light breezes.
You may recall we bought the 8HP version and with little remodeling of the tube aperture and fitting an additional 2 battery bank in the forward bilge area it has worked perfectly almost to the point of pirouetting.
