“This airport is the worst I have ever experienced, the staff are rude, shouting without explanation, what an awful start to a holiday!!
I’m sure that people from outside the UK are shocked when met with this behaviour!!
I will avoid this airport in the future!”
“Travelled through Bristol Airport 17th November 2023 and was met at security with a woman who shouted at everybody. This behaviour is atrocious and not good to witness. Bristol Airport get a grip we have travelled all over the world and this is the worst Airport!!”
“Absolutely disgusting. The staff in the fast track lane are some of the rudest, nastiest people I have ever experienced in my life. One male member of staff, not done being patronising towards me, was even hassling a family with young children who were after me in the queue.
As others have said, restaurants are poor quality and expensive, captive audience I guess - paid £14 for a meal that turned out to be inedible as it was lukewarm and seemed like it had been left out, not good for foods such as eggs and meat!
Had issue with my car parking as well, a member of staff took my key from me as I went to put it in the drop box in silver zone - muttered something about “not accepted” and gave it to someone else behind the desk, then walked off….? Tried to ask what had happened but was moved on. I just hope I get my car back when I return and can make a swift exit from this awful place!
If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would.”
“There is no customer service! The security staff are the rudest I have dealt with whilst travelling , they should send them for some training on customer service and if they can't be polite to the customer get rid and get staff who can be ! It's not what you want to deal with when your off on your holiday's and quiet frankly the customer shouldn't have to put up with it! And probably wouldn't but for the fact they want to get on their flights with out any complications.”
“Absolutely disgusting tried to order food at Frankie and Benny’s app didn’t work go to Burger King que for 30 mins to be told can’t order due to food orders not being done quick enough”
“Took 45 minutes from arrival till bags were loaded onto carousel. There were no other flights arriving and all other carousels were empty. Baggage desk person was useless and left desk after a while leaving no none for an aircraft full of people to seek help from. Last time I fly through Bristol airport.”
“Absolutely atrocious customer service here! It should be a pleasure but it’s a shocking experience from start to finish. Security is the worst area!!!!”
“Whs Smith is offering a meal deal for 4,99, sandwich, chips and a drink. But for us it impossible to do that because of the tourist trap layout. So Smith get your act together and do what you seem to promise. Make it happen fot 4,99. For me it is not the money but the principle!”
“Shambles in baggage claim. Have been here hour and a half and our luggage is still on the plane. We were told that luggage is taking at least 2 hours to be unloaded due to staff shortages. This has been the same excuse for the past 5 years. If the airport can’t handle the amount of passengers they should restrict the number of flights.
Toilets not very clean either. Won’t be using this airport again.”
“Dreadful. Terrible services, rude security, all restaurants are poor quality and a rip off, no free pax drop off. Airport from hell...unfortunately this is becoming standard in the UK now.”
“Incredibly expensive to park with over complicated procedures if you choose Silver Zone (give you keys to the desk whilst on holiday and invalidate your car insurance). Ridiculous amounts of red tape and H&S BS like bussing people from the terminal to the aircraft. 2hr + security delays because they only open 2 of the security points but of course, you can pay £9 to skip this queue... yes the queue they create. Signs everywhere outside saying you'll be charged if you drop someone off and just a general horrible feel of profiteering - not how you should start or end a holiday.”
“What a dreadful airport, it just gets worse and worse, how do they manage it?
I cannot think of a single positive regarding this Airport, l dread flying out of here.
I have been trying to use Cardiff if possible and what a different culture there, l can't fault it.”
“Bristol airport are an absolute joke. Dropped my daughter at the designated loading are for 30 secs. Charged £5.00 to exit!! Also, if you even pick up anyone away from the designated loading are - You will be charged a £100 fine as they have numerous cameras monitoring everything.
Complained to Bristol airport and just had a barrage of traffic congestion, sustainability transport nonsense. Really - This airport is in the middle of nowhere and pre £5.00 charges - I have never experienced any congestion whatsoever. All this leads me to the conclusion that Bristol airport are just a money making enterprise with little / no regard of their passengers. My advice to anyone is DO NOT USE THESE MONEY GRABBING PARASITES and fly from Cardiff or Birmingham.”
“1) £2
drop of and pick up charges are a rip-off
2)£2 for trolley hire is a rip-off
3)security staff are poorly trained and arrogant.
4)Aspire lounge closes to early at 19.30
5) airport is filthy and dirty see my photographs
6) seating for none consumers is inadecate.
7) distances to gates are far to long and without walkway assistance
8) WiFi charges are incurred after 2 hours do if your flight is delayed your ripped,-off”
“Flying to Glasgow on Monday 3rd June 2019 on the 16.35 pm flight with EasyJet. Myself and my son and my 3yr old granddaughter arrived at the airport and was standing in the queue in security and it was so busy with huge queue's and NO STAFF walking about to ask for help. There was only one person on each lane making sure everyone complied with the security measures. Our flight was closing in 35 min and we were panicking at the fact that there were NO staff walking about to ask for help and if we had left the queue there was a chance of us missing the flight. I got very worried as we couldn't do anything but stay in the queue and much to our disappointment we missed our flight. NO HELP !!! we were escorted back through security and had to go downstairs to the information desk to ask for help and to be told we had to PAY FOR 3 TICKETS. £100 each they were, even for a 3 yr old so we were advised to go online and pay that way as it was cheaper. If there were staff walking about at security I would have asked for the help and we would have not missed our flight and ALSO be out of pocket having to buy another 3 tickets and wait nearly 4hrs for the next flight with a 3yr old. So Bristol Airport, HAVE MORE STAFF WALKING ABOUT AT SECURITY SO PEOPLE CAN ASK FOR HELP IF NEED BE.”
