“Made 1 imput error and tried to double van insurance from £800 to £1600 and because I couldn’t afford it had to cancel the policy before it even started and they charged me £75
Goes by a few names on confused . Com van experts with the cheapest quotes to attract you (Broker Experts, Van Insurance Expert, First Choice, etc.). Once purchased you are required to have a phone call where they pick apart everything you selected (Job, Address, Social/Commuting/Business Mileage, Vehicle and why you even need it). They then update the quote to over double, and if you cancel you have to pay £75+ because of their 'terms and conditions' (regardless of 14 day cooling off period laws).
AVOID.
Go to a proper company like SwitchCover, Admiral, etc. and not a dodgy broker like this.
Also the customer service is absolutely disgraceful, they intend to make you out to be a liar to bump up the quote. I even had to prove my job and address in 'fraud prevention'. Good luck if you ever need to make a claim if that is how they treat you on sign up!!!

I purchased a policy from them totalling £982 at the end of December and paid the full amount immediately. However, I cancelled it on the 8th of January within the 14-day cooling off period, without making any claims, and they imposed a £150 cancellation fee. Despite the passage of time until the 6th of February, I have not yet received my refund. In my attempts to follow up with them, I have contacted them multiple times, only to be provided with excuses. I plan to wait a couple more days before reporting them to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and action fraud.
It is highly advised to avoid this company.”

They are scammers/ con artists ! Insured me online , took £300+ from me then called me not even 1 minute later telling me they can’t insure me , I’ve been waiting two weeks for a refund now!! Ombudsman is involved as are trading standards and my banking group . DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!! They have left me without any money to pay my bills or even buy food this month , it’s outrageous! Also still waiting on that refund! I was told 3-5 working days !! DO NOT USE PLEASE PEOPLE IM GIVING YOU THE CHANCE I NEVER HAD ! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!”
