"The refurbished Steelcase Amia is a tremendous value.\r\n\r\nThe video reviews of the comfort of the seat pad and back rest are accurate. Both the seat and the back rest are extremely comfortable for sitting in for long periods of time. The back rest has shifted my posture to a more ergonomic and healthy position. The back rest's lumbar support is effective. I do feel it and it helps my back. This is the first experience I've ever had with a chair with lumbar, so I can't compare it to the Steelcase Leap or any other chair. My only complaint is that the adjustable lumbar support will on occasion slide down lower on my back. It's not difficult to readjust it, so it hasn't been an issue for me. I don't know if this is a common problem that rests in Steelcase's design or in BTOD's refurbishing--or if this is an issue with my chair only. \r\n\r\nThe back rest recline tilt function is good. It isn't as smooth as other chairs that I've owned, but it works and supports me well since I like to recline back in my chair a lot. The tension adjustment functions quite well.\r\n\r\nI got BTOD's standard fabric covering for the seat and back rest. The fabric is comfortable and feels very durable. The indigo color is vivid. However, the fabric retains some body heat, so if you really want the ventilation of mesh, you'll need to look at another chair.\r\n\r\nThe arm rests are amazing. Extremely adjustable, so I can really dial exactly where I need the pads to be to support my elbows. I got the BTOD replacement arm pads, and they are very nice. Just the right amount of firmness and grip. The covering causes no discomfort with my skin, and my elbows are in no danger of slipping off the pads. \r\n\r\nThe frame, seat base, and the cylinder are all excellent. I am confident that I will get 12 years or even more from this chair.\r\n\r\nI got BTOD's roller blade wheels, and honestly, they work TOO well. It is incredibly easy to move the chair on these wheels. I often place too much effort in pushing the chair, and it will really roll around, regardless of the surface, smooth tile or carpet. I'm not really complaining, but if you are considering the BTOD wheels, be aware these wheels are legitimate.\r\n\r\nOverall, I feel I have gotten a $1000+ chair for half the price. I have a great warranty from a company that appears to stand behind their products and refurbishing process.\r\n\r\nI have attached a photo so all can see what my old chair, \"Ol' Scrappy,\" was like. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased with my upgrade."

“I bought an as-is Leap V2 a few months ago and it's been fantastic. It was advertised as a "covid-chair" meaning that it was purchased by a company before covid and sat in an office for five years unused. I rolled the dice and was very happy with what I got. A new chair at a fraction of the cost. This thing had ZERO signs of use. The fabric smelled like....new fabric. There was one piece that was damaged during shipping and BTOD replaced the part and had it shipped to me incredibly quickly. Their customer service is fast to respond. Would buy from them again.”

“I wanted a quality desk chair like SteelCase, but could not afford the price of a new one. I stumbled onto BTOD that refurbishes used chairs. I found what I needed on their website, and ordered the chair with extras like new handles, new wheels and extra padding in the 💺 . This chair looks brand new and is perfect for me. I am enjoying the comfort of my used chair I was able to buy with on my limited income. I am so glad I found BTOD.”

“BTOD quoted 2–3 weeks for shipping, but my refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 arrived within the same week. The packaging was extremely well done and made setup easy while giving confidence the chair would arrive undamaged. I originally chose BTOD because of the 60-day free return policy and 12-year warranty. Buying an ergonomic chair online can feel risky with so many options, but BTOD made the process feel genuinely low-risk and straightforward. I ordered the chair with black fabric, the upgraded seat cushion, and rollerblade wheels. I’m 6’1”, 180 lbs, work from home, and often spend long days sitting between work and gaming. My previous chair caused hip pain and poor posture over time. After a few weeks with the Leap, my hip pain is completely gone and I can comfortably sit for long periods without discomfort. The adjustability is excellent, especially the armrests, seat depth, lumbar support, and recline settings. The chair feels extremely solid and well-built. I did notice some pressure from the firmer seat cushion during the first few days, but that completely went away after a short adjustment period. Overall, the refurb quality exceeded expectations and the chair has been worth the investment.”

“BTOD does not disappoint when it comes to their comprehensive in depth reviews for office furniture, namely office chairs. While I was aware of their refurbished selection, I was extremely excited to learn that they also offer occasional As-Is stock. The recent As-Is Leap V2 was seemingly a no-brainer. The Leap I received looked nearly brand new, new casters as promised, and arrived ahead of the estimated window. The chair was a breeze to assemble. I opted for the additional warranty, considering the cylinder a reasonably common failure point. I must also commend their customer service (shout outs to April) who provided resources for assembly shortly after my chair was shipped but also handling a click in the recline by providing updated gliders. I highly recommend BTOD when in the market for an office chair. My back is glad I did.”

“I ordered without getting an answer about why the casters went from three (with the best appearing to be what you might see on roller blades) to two (the standard bulbous ones on most office chairs). Perhaps someone could email me and explain, and if they are still possible, or if they are undesirable for some reason. Other than this, things went pretty well with ordering. I did refresh my page once and lost all information including the content of my shopping cart. I don't know why that would be. Anyway, I am very hopeful about your product. I am limited on funds and this was a gift from some parishioners who thought I better get real chair if I'm going to be around for many more years. : ) thank you. I look forward to its arrival.”

“The packaging box arrived a little mangled but thankfully it didn't affect the contents, the chair was in great condition. All parts were reconditioned or renewed as advertised. Very happy with the resulting product. Much better value than paying retail prices. Would gladly buy again.”
