I ordered a new C-HR late May 18, and it arrived with no problems. The only gripe was it arrived with rubber sealent and compressor [as most cars do now] but when I ordered it I asked for a real wheel and tyre to match the other four. Call me old fashioned but I prefer a real wheel in case of a puncture, not a blow up and go to the nearest garage. A phone call told me it was available to collect, so off I went. A fitter came out of the garage to fit the wheel in the boot [complete with jack and wheel wrench etc]. When I got to my car there was a 'space saver' wheel, not what I ordered. So back to see the person at the service counter who asked me to wait while he got somebody to talk to about this, all the equipment and the space saver got took back to the garage. The person arrives and I tell him the story. To which he told me the sealent and compressor are standard. the space saver had been ordered because I said that I would prefer a real wheel and tyre. I said 'to match the other 4'. He fetched the salesman who had taken the order who said he remebered me wanting a wheel to match the others. The person then tried all sorts to try and get me to accept the space saver - saying it would take time getting it. I can go to Burton-on-trent [their big works] and fetch one faster than it arrived. It would cost more, was the next question - it didn't matter it cost [quoted about £250 when I ordered the car, they didn't know exactly as nobody had asked for one before] the person looked it up and said about £460, bit of a difference, But I still wanted the wheel and tyre. it finally arrived without the jack or wheel brace etc. So what started off as excellent finished with me being disapointed with the service.

I had to purchase a car quickly to replace my other Yaris which had been scrapped as a result of a rear shunt .As I was going on holiday soon afterwards , I had to make a hasty decision which influenced choosing a Yaris again considering how well it had survived the accident ! I am always impressed by the staff and service at Doncaster Lewis was very helpful sorting out my 'new' car with finance but I was quite disappointed when later in the month I received correspondence from Toyota about finance deals which would have been tempting had I not had to change cars so quickly!!

Although service was good. When I went to pick up the car it had not been cleaned or valeted....spoke to sales rep and adv to bring back to be done....as I live over 10 miles away and need car for work I asked to take to Barnsley...not done....cleaned car myself....disappointing start....

The only thing I would suggest is to ensure you charge for the car tax at the time of purchase, rather than having to chase customers down for it later.

I was offered a very good deal that other dealerships couldn't match, and was explained all the details in a friendly atmosphere. Dave Jessop who handled my purchase was professional and answered all my questions and didn't try and push extra insurances on which I was really grateful for. I couldn't be happier with my new car and in future will definitely look into going with a Mazda again.

Happy over this short period of change from Copcutts after 20 + years of dealing very successfully and enjoyably with them and the curtuosy they extended at all times to me and my family

I was in desperate need of a car, and would have liked to have taken it that day.. but I was told company policy was that it had to have a service and MOT.. slightly disappointed that it hadn’t had either when I picked it up as they were done in June.. so maybe I could have taken the car earlier.. On the plus side though, waiting meant they wheels were repaired.. and I rang and asked for them to be sprayed black and they did... I have an absolutely stunning car that in no way looks 6 years old it’s mint.. and I absolutely love her (pearl), so thank you 😊
