This is my 2nd purchase of a voucher as the 1st one went well, but second is turning into a nightmare, there is hotel's advertised on the buyagift site that no longer accept your vouchers,most hotel's advertised want a premium paying on top of what's already been paid for a room and trying to get a response from the customer service team regarding a refund is proving near impossible. I'd have to call this service diabolical.

Impossible to use unless booked a year in advance plus extra supplements for using at weekend . No refund after 60 days

Bought a gift for two nights hotel and it was in offer yet now I want to use it not got the agreed amount. Also nine hotel's either aren't open or won't except these vouchers what a nightmare and a rip off.

awful ... sold a product that wasn't usable... not struggling to chase a refund £178 down and what a surprise... its near impossible to get hold of anyone to get the refund .

I have tried on two occasions to use a voucher for which I paid £70 and was unable to use due to Covid. In spite of having a reference number buy a gift did not honour my payment. You cannot call or email them to complain so writing reviews is the only way to expose them as thieves and con artists.

Poor advert. You advertised for zip wire experience in north wales. We tried to book this experience prior to children’s summer holiday period but you declined. You suggested that the 18 th July was in the summer holidays but children don’t usually break up until later around w/c 25th July. In your voucher it does not intimate summer Holliday restriction

Voucher bought before lockdown due to expire Exchanged for wild pheasant -an extra£5.88-as we were holidaying close very off hand could not accommodate us Tried unsuccessfully to change voucher again before expired Each time we looked the extra cost went UP until our voucher was no longer recognised and no way to contact any one except Webb site that sent us round in circles Very frustrating and time consuming not to mention waste of money especially as I have purchased so many vouchers as gifts

Have just contacted your help line On holiday voucher due to expire due to covid holdup unable to book afternoon tea Using it - hotel was most abrupt and off hand But also used 4 more vouchers at zip world An amazing and enjoyable family day out Thankyou

The voucher I have brought won't download. I have tried emailing, and that says no one man's the emails so I won't get a reply then the live chat resent the voucher but it still doesn't download. £99 wasted !!!

Brought a massage voucher as a birthday gift and the person has called 4 different suppliers who say they no longer accept Buy a gift vouchers. Now have the hassle of trying to get a refund but chat is only available 9 - 5 and i work these hours.

After a lot of time researching I booked a 2 night stay at a hotel in London for £151.00, however when I tried to use the voucher I was asked to pay an extra £317.00 for the dates I wanted (a Wednesday & Thursday night at the beginning of July). I queried this with Buy a Gift to be told it does state this in their terms & conditions. By going direct to the hotel I found if I became a member I could get it cheaper than Buy a gift, anyone can join and it’s free of charge. It would really help if when advertising prices they state what dates are included in the price, not hide it in their terms & conditions, it would have saved me a lot of time. They also stated they do not price match members prices. Be careful when booking if you require a certain date.

When trying to use our vouchers, the hotels wanted to charge us more for the stay and another hotel was not available but was on other hotel booking sites!! A rip off..

Unfortunately I'm still without my parcel that I paid the extra carriage for to get it quickly. The parcel initially got lost for which I understand happens from time to time and then I was advised I'd receive it 2 days ago and I'm still waiting!..Mistakes happen but my biggest gripe is the difficulty to try and get to speak to an actual person with webchat being the only option available to me. I ordered 2 presents that were both late. I was only then sent 1 digital voucher to get me out of trouble, because of this i had to go through the whole process of webchat twice. I hope the gift experience's that i will have to embarrassingly give late or if i ever get them at all, are better than Buyagift's service.

Absolutely disgusting…. My 17 yr old daughter dreamed of taking her dad to see a show in the theatre she couldn’t afford 6 tickets with good seats but she can across the tickets on this site. She brought 2 tickets x3 so we could all go and see a show together on the belief that we could choose seats available on the day however it didn’t mention that the only seats you get are the worse and cheapest seats possible the tickets for these seats could have been purchased cheaper directly through the theatre I will be raising a complain as my poor daughter had to work all week to earn the £150 it cost her A complete stitch up!

I ordered an email gift voucher and, almost a week later, it still hasn't arrived. I have emailed customer services, but got no reply. There is no customer service number as far I can see. The online chat service is only available weekdays, between 9am and 5pm,which is no use to anyone who works full time, and cannot wait around in a queue waiting to chat to someone. I am really disappointed.

I ordered the driving experience for my dad for father’s day. However, when trying to book the experience the codes do not work for half the websites. This is really disappointing.
