Avoid BUYSHEDSDIRECT at all cost Avoid BUYSHEDSDIRECT at all cost. The quality of these sheds are very, very poor, and whilst the issue has been raised with them directly, they simply hide behind the fact they're a re-seller and NOT the manufacturer. They sold items that weren't necessary and all of this sits with the consumer and they should have been more informed when buying the items. They then sit behind the 30 day refund policy and that any faults should have been raised when delivered as flat pack, and that by starting to construct the shed this is seen as accepting the quality of these sheds at delivery. My advice to anyone would be to not purchase these sheds through BSD and look for a local retailer where you can first hand see what you're purchasing

Shed is not fit for purpose. Every row of wood has split at the ends where it has been badly nailed to the framework. BDS do not want to know, they say it is normal wear and tear, only had it 15 months ! They refuse to send anyone out to look at it as its not their fault ! Wish I'd never heard of them. Agree with everyone else on here. Don't buy from them.

I received an acknowledging email regarding my shed purchase on 13.7.23. I was told by email that Forrest, the manufacturer of the shed, would deliver and install it. They said they would get in touch with me in 2-3 weeks, but no one did, so I emailed to chase it. Someone then contacted me and the date of delivery was to be 24.8.23. I booked the day as leave from work. They phoned to cancel early on that day however, the reason they provided was that there was too much weight on the lorry. This meant that the further appointment I had arranged, for the shed to be installed, would have to be cancelled also. The new date for delivery was 31.8.23. I took a day off work. I got up early and donned protective clothing to strim the nettles in the small alleyway behind my small, terraced house, to facilitate delivery and protect those delivering from stings. I was thinking I might get an update when delivery was imminent on that day, but there was no communication. Coming down the stairs later in the day I noticed someone in a Hi Vi jacket in the small garden space in front of my house, there were actually two people, going back and forth. I opened the door to find that my shed, which had cost me in the region of £850, was being delivered in pieces and left in the front space, virtually on the street, leaning against my bay window, on top of the begonias on my window sill. I queried this and was told ‘we just leave it here’. I asked why they had not knocked on the door, since I was waiting in. They said they had asked the postman if there was a rear entrance and he said no, so they were just going to leave it there. I mentioned about the alleyway, one terraced house away from my front door. They then agreed to leave it in my back garden. They left without any goodbye or communication at all. Checking later, I read that the company which delivers, Forest, provide a contactless delivery. Flat Pack Professionals were booked to install the shed on 4.9.23. I waited in all day with two small children, on the last day of the summer holidays. After lunch, I called them to ask when they were coming, they said they do not give a time. Eventually they said they would be there between 3 and 4, not great for me, but they did turn up. They spent a few minutes in the garden looking at the parts of the shed, apologised and said there was a faulty part and they could not put it together. Again back to the drawing board. I waited over the next few days for the part to arrive. I tried to track it on the link given and it said it had been delivered to Basildon and signed for by me, which obviously was not true. I later found it had been delivered to my next door neighbour and was sitting in their hallway. I emailed asking for further information. I emailed on 9.10.23 saying I am still waiting for my shed to be installed, can Flat Pack Professionals please get in touch. They responded asking whether I was waiting for parts to be delivered. They had not been informed that the part was delivered. Flat Pack Professionals finally came and installed the shed on 17.10.23. It came with a free keysafe but I was advised not to use this on the shed as it was not suitable. It looks OK. What I would say is that the experience was not characterised by directness. I understand that Sheds Direct do not own any sheds, nor, it would appear do they manufacture, deliver or install sheds. I thought I was dealing with one company, Sheds Direct, but I was actually dealing with them, Forest, Flat Pack Professionals and receiving emails from the Podfather, whose role in the situation I never quite understood. I wished I had bought the shed from a local place where I could walk in and speak to someone when there were problems. Quite an ordeal.

The quality of this shed is just HORRIFIC - extremely badly made. My £40 garden fence pannel is a lot more solid. Absolutely no care with the way this shed was made. Basically, what they are selling is four very thin, shabby fence pannels , two doors, cheap osb and selling these for a small fortune. Almost all the pieces are extremely badly measured and cut to very poor standard. I had to sand down EVERY single pice. At nearly £850 full price this is an absolute con and honestly these people shouldn't be in business. Be warned and don't buy from this company!!!!! Look after your hard earned money and avoid disappointment!

Absolutely rubbish Flimsy build and badly put together, could go on for hours about the all round SHOCKING installation etc etc, AVOID this company at all costs

Bought a Forest overlap shed costing £669.99 plus assembly cost of £388.99 in April the shed was assembled with the doors bowed, fitter didn't mention this, the doors were replaced. We pointed out to the fitter that most of the panels were bowed one of the gaps is so large you can put your hand outside, he took pictures and phoned his boss when I asked what he though he said the shed was border line.Since then have made many phone calls last call being on the 1st of June spoke to Megan said she would speak to Forest Gardens who are the manufacturer STILL NO RESPONSE.The replacement doors have a gap at the top Forest Gardens maintain there is no issue with the doors and that the gaps in the panels will usually close over time, this shed is complete rubbish and is very flimsy A Rip Off. DONT USE THESE COMPANIES.I have also supplied 11 images to Sheds Direct.

Shed did not arrived within 2-3 delivery time. I had to chase company who could not give an answer as to why shed had not been delivered. No internal order processing tracking and complete lack of communication. In addition incorrect reply post on other review platform. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Shocked at the quality for the amount i paid. Leaks everywhere, wont ever dry out and will cost a fortune to fix. 3 broken glass panels, although no suprise as extremely flimsy. Front edging damaged. Large chip in floor base. Spoke to company and because i painted a panel inside which is how i then realised it was leaking they wont rectify it, also wont replace broken windows as i painted inside but i didnt open the window panels until last as its a job you do after painting. Stay away from this company, im now seeking legal action. Company still refusing to do anything even tho its under a 10 year warranty. £630 out of pocket. I was blackmailed into closing my case for £175 good will gesture. Had no response in 2 week. I would suggest never using this company. Arrives damaged, leaks thats are unrepairable. Wood chip floor but states tongue and groove. Had a contractor look at it and they were shocked at the quality and the wood used. Trading standards are currently investigating and iv applied to a small claims court as the customer service is shocking and they will blackmail you

Do not buy from here! First delivery didn’t arrive and no one cared. Second delivery panels only no fixing pack. Third delivery no trims and battens. Arranged a collection when after three months we had given up. It’s only a bike store. Now two weeks later still no refund. Once they’ve got your money they don’t care at all.

My experience has been awful. Today was the last straw when a promised collection of the unsuitable shed never turned up. Upset and out of pocket by quite a bit !!

Appalling! Delivery driver lied saying I refused delivery - strange since I waited in all day and no-one came. I did then at least receive a phone call the following week from someone who asked if I had received the planters i had bought to which I replied that I hadnt and was told they would sort it out. But nothing... I am now chasing and hoping I'll get somewhere two weeks later after my order made at beginning of April and paying £143. God knows if I'll ever receive the planters or if not get a refund. I shall never buy from this company again.

If it was possible to score this company zero then that is what I’d give them Delivery driver abandoned the boxes containing the flat pack shed in the middle of my lawn - never asked me where I wanted them or even gave consideration to the fact that I’m a 5ft woman and would never be able to move them After having several days of heavy rain, the boxes subsequently disintegrated, removing any chance of returning the item in its original packaging We finally come to the build… where do we start It took an experienced builder 9 hours to put together. The holes didn’t align, the joins didn’t join, the roof wasn’t square and if that wasn’t bad enough - the 10ft x 8ft shed was actually 9ft 4 x 7ft 7 (apparently this can be clearly found hidden in the small print) The customer service are appalling and couldn’t care less You’re much better off taking the money you were going to spend on a shed from this company and backing a horse at 500-1 in the National; as it’s got more chance of coming in first than this shower of s**t have of providing you with anything remotely resembling quality and giving you decent customer service

Don't believe the delivery times as the… Never Never Buy from this company BSD sold me a Timber Log Cabin back on the 16th March 2021 whilst advertising an 8 to 10 week delivery time. I created an account and placed my order for which I had to hand over full payment. However my order didn’t show up on my account and even though I contacted them several times I was told they couldn’t do anything about it, so after 7 weeks I had had no information or contact from BSD. When I rang them I was told that they couldn’t give me any information as it was in the hands of another company in Estonia, they offered to email them and get back to me, they didn’t. I contacted them again and requested a manager to phone me, they didn’t. I contacted them yet again and requested a call back by a manager, only to get an email from a helpdesk email account , though signed by a manager. The email stated that it was nothing to do with BSD though they had my money. They said they were only a customer of the third party manufacturer and actually didn’t do anything other than take my money and place an order with the Estonian company Palmako. Eventually after repeated emails and phone calls I was informed that the delivery was now going to be 18+ weeks, due to Covid, a lack of Trees and a lack of operatives. Because of my repeated complaints BSD refunded 5% of my money as they felt this was good customer relations. Because we were now some 12 weeks into the order I asked that someone contact me each week with a progress update, they didn’t, I had to contact them each time. I repeatedly asked if the Cabin was in production, on it’s way or in the UK, each time I was told they couldn’t tell me as they didn’t know and couldn’t find out. Well I contacted Palmako directly in Estonia and got an update straightaway. Finally after 24 weeks Palmako UK contacted me and arranged delivery of my cabin. I can honestly tell you that BSD does nothing, accepts no responsibility for anything and cannot communicate with it’s customers. Even though they accepted that they let me down, they did nothing to stay in contact with me or provide any updates. They gave a token 5% refund which is an insult and when they read this will give some condescending reply that won’t actually address any of the real issues. There are many companies out there that buy from Palmako as most timber cabins are made in Europe, so if you want a new cabin then shop around but don’t don’t buy from BSD. Please see my previous review below Don't believe the delivery times as the company takes no responsibility on sticking to them. I placed my order back in March 2021 and it was clearly advertised that delivery times were between 8 to 10 weeks. After not having any updates or contacts from the company I had to contact them myself. Having explained that I needed an update on the expected delivery I was told that the company would get back to me once they had spoken with the manufacturer. However over a week later I had to contact them again because I had heard nothing. I was then informed by a lady named SUKI , Some 7 WEEKS after placing the order XXX12000211256, that the delivery was now expected in early JULY. Though they apologised they said they could do nothing to speed this up. They didn't even have the decency to have a manager ring me to explain why their Web Site was giving incorrect information and misleading customers in parting with their money. This company has NO customer service skills and does NOT care about the position they leave people in. 12th August 2021. Still waiting for my Goods to be delivered. Yeah so it was nice of them to hope I liked my cabin once I received it but it still not even in the UK. So the small part refund offered back in May has now proved to be a slight insult rather than a real attempt at customer service.

I bought a shed from buy sheds direct including installation service and paid nearly £1400. From day one, customer service was very poor, I called numerous times but it appears that they can only receive calls for sales and not for customer service due to covid. Delivery: They would not give you the exact date and even if they do, they would not stick to the agreed schedule, will call you ad hoc to notify you of a different delivery slot. Shed materials: Not good for the price, I had three men coming to fit one shed within two weeks: The first man came with the wrong parts, the second man came without a door, after nearly two weeks the third man came and fitted the door after nearly two weeks, I cannot believe my eyes that the shed door was cut to incorrect size and fitted. I would never ever recommend this company to anybody but you are allowed to shop at your own risk!!

I bought the plastic shed. It’s say it’s a high impact poly Carbonate. The next day when it rained it started leaking from the roof. My hired a professional shed fixer to assemble it. I called buy shed direct. They telling me stories. Very very disappointed. Shed not as seen in the video. Very frigle.

Customer service poor, communication from your supplier even worse. I have 75% of a shed waiting to be built. Would like to get this built before Xmas but unlikely. Glad I paid by credit card as I can now begin the process of getting my money back.

I have been left gobsmacked! Yesterday 18:00 June 18th 2020 a bike shed was advertised at £189.99, I added this to my basket and at checkout the amount had changed to £219.99. With the advertisement still at £189.99 I was confused and figured there was a glitch so I emailed the company with screenshots. Today 19th June 2020, no reply but changed online advertised price to £219.99 so I enquired about this and I was provided some interesting excuses. Excuse number 1: Prices have changed lately Excuse number 2: The reason the price went up in my basket is because during the time period between adding the item in my basket to going to purchase (circa 30 seconds), the price had increased. Excuse number 3: The price of £219.99 is the correct price and I must have left my item in the basket to long when adding it at the £189.99 price and when I went to finally purchase the price went up. I was told I could only buy this shed at the new price and I would not be honoured with the £189.99 price - this is completely unethical and I was treated with complete contempt. Furthermore, legally this is not allowed although the business does not have to honour my purchase at the £189.99 price, legally the product must be removed from sale immediately and I will be reporting to trading standards.

You get what you pay for! Although £575 isn’t cheap I must say but my shed is just over 16 months old and the roof need replacing already! Long story short the felt is extremely poor quality and has been leaking for god knows how long. My roof needs replacing as the wood is soaking wet, covered in mould and the back corner floor is also wet. The roof is now sagging and the timber supports are now bowing and the entire roof and contents are mouldy. I’d advise anyone buying one to think twice or if you do buy one the go out and buy some top quality roofing material. I fitted guttering when I first had the shed to help keep water away which is a good thing else it would only have been worse. It is going to cost me around £120 to paint the roof to seal it until spring then it will have to be stripped and rebuilt to who knows what expense. Think twice about buying, mine was a ship lap Apex roof shed. I hope this helps someone

Ordered a shed with upgraded wood slatted roof. First problem, it wasn’t finished. I wouldn’t have known this without chasing them about a separate problem. Fair enough, they came and finished the problem I was not aware of. Whilst the sub contractors were there, they told me there were facias and finishing touch bits missing and they didn’t have them on there vans. Shed looks a lot better after the second visit but I have to chase them again for another visit. Buyshedsdirect will try and do the minimum required and won’t admit to faults. They blame the suppliers....but my contract is with them and I want a finished shed. If I hadn’t had a trustworthy second set of sub contractors, I wouldn’t have known these problems. Stay clear
