"I joined by miles and have been sent the tracker. The tracker seemed faulty as I plugged it in the obd-2 socket it disabled my tyre inflation system, electronic brake system, engine system and car start system meaning the engine would not start to work, the car was dead! The first repair has cost me 1100. I contacted by miles and was asked for the miles tracker serial number. A software update would be given and I should try again. So I tried it again for a 2nd time and same faults again and the car needed a repair again this time it has cost me 350. I had my car repaired for a summary of 1450 and all I received is my insurance refund and an apology. No compensation or refund for the repair costs. Avoid!"

"Shocking experience. Been a loyal customer for 4 years. Increased my excess from \u00a3350 to \u00a31100 (266%). Never had a claim, car garaged at night and an average of less that 2000 miles per year. I obtained a new quote from the same insurer, at a lower premium and an excess of \u00a3350. Not interested in anything i had to say and offered to cancel my policy"

"I would say I have left reviews for maybe 4 or 5 organisations in the last 15 years. It\u2019s just not my thing. But, I\u2019m doing this because I just find the service absolutely top notch. The concept itself is absolutely clever and in my opinion, ingenious and at the same time very simple and straightforward. You pay an upfront charge for when car is not been driven and then get charged per mile you drive. At first, I thought it was a gimmick; there\u2019s got to be a catch. Maybe the by-mile cost would be high. Maybe the initial lump cost would be high. But nope. The mile cost is 3.1p per mile (slightly up from 3.0 last year, but that\u2019s minimal). For my own policy, the lump sum was \u00a3178.73 for the whole year. This is a reduction on my last year\u2019s bill, which was more than\u00a3200 (still low for what it is fir me). You know the crazy thing, this is including the premiumI had to pay for having a speeding ticket! So, it could have been cheaper!\r\nI drive very little. About 4 to 10 miles per day on a 5 day week. So, it adds up to nearly nothing when you compare to what I\u2019d pay for other types of insurance (I was quoted between \u00a3500 to \u00a3750) by other insurance!). \r\nThen there\u2019s the app. Very sleek, smooth and functional with tools to help you do all sorts of things. As a geek, this was an absolute bonus. You can see every single journey you\u2019ve made, know exactly how much you\u2019re using and how far you\u2019ve driven. Your whole policy and everything to do with it is on the app. No paperwork anywhere. The app can wirelessly diagnose problems with your car and give you the problem code (right now, I have a p0646 diagnosis, which I\u2019ll be taking to my mechanic). You can pre-plan a journey to see what it\u2019ll cost you before you start and loads more\u2026.all in a very simple and intuitive app. \r\nAre they perfect? Well, you are best off using this if you do not drive a lot or drive short distances to gain the most benefit. Even so, there\u2019s a cap on how much you\u2019re charged per day, irrespective of mileage (can\u2019t recall the exact cap). Oh, and if you park your car and can\u2019t find it, the app can help you trace the car! Fir me, it\u2019s the best type and way to insure your car. I was with them last year and did not hesitate to renew (even before I knew that I\u2019d be paying cheaper). Do not hesitate. Go for it!\r\n\r\nIf you\u2019re lucky and introduce someone, you do not even need to pay for the miles you drive. I did not pay a penny last year as I used the referral to get some family on.
