“I have been a regular customer of Cafe Nero at Fforestfach Retail Park. I have on occasion did my work there while enjoying my drink. I liked the fact I could sit, use wireless and have access to a power socket. The staff were extremely friendly, joyful and professional. 2 staff in particular stand out, Ffion and Oskar. Always polite, cheerful and courteous going the extra mile. Highly recommend this branch. So far the best branch I have been to so far out of the Cafe Nero chain. The coffees and other drinks are excellent and very good for Non Dairy as well. Chai, Latte, Fruit booster and Frappes have been really good, and portions are generous.”
“The Assembly Row location in Somerfield, Massachusetts is wonderful. The beverages are made with precision and care. The selection of sandwiches and breakfast items is large in comparison to other chains, and the staff that greeted us every morning of our vacation was excellent. Do not take briskness as uncaring. They are busy and need to keep everything moving, but your order will be correct and you coffee amazingly like what you would get in Italy. Sandwiches and breakfast items are lovely as well. The atmosphere is lovely and the seating inviting. Don’t hesitate to have a seat and get comfy! Huge shout out to Ana and the staff for making every morning an experience!!”

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff.
A special mention to Tia and Fern. Fern makes the place, with her cheerful attitude which is infectious. Without her it would not be the same. She makes everyone feel welcome and her genuine love for the job shines through - people come first. Tia is quiet, kind and happy. She is unflappable, even when the shop is at its busiest.
My husband works just round the corner from the branch, so we can be in for a coffee every weekday. He is retiring at the end of February and we will miss the cheery atmosphere and warm welcome.”
“I had a very unsatisfactory visit to Café Nero in West Hampstead on Wednesday, 4th November. The customer service was poor and unwelcoming, with staff showing little to no friendliness or attentiveness.
The two staff Barristers were very chatty and to each other and choose who they say hello. This is not the first time these barristers have been rude to us, it getting uncomfortable now because we have been coming for nearly 7years.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the café left much to be desired. Tables were cluttered with used cups and plates, making it impossible for customers to sit without first clearing the tables themselves. This is not what one expects from a reputable café chain.
It was disappointing to see such hostility from these two barristers and a low standards of service and cleanliness, and I hope management addresses these issues promptly to ensure a better experience for future customers.”
