I had a very unsatisfactory visit to Café Nero in West Hampstead on Wednesday, 4th November. The customer service was poor and unwelcoming, with staff showing little to no friendliness or attentiveness. The two staff Barristers were very chatty and to each other and choose who they say hello. This is not the first time these barristers have been rude to us, it getting uncomfortable now because we have been coming for nearly 7years. Additionally, the cleanliness of the café left much to be desired. Tables were cluttered with used cups and plates, making it impossible for customers to sit without first clearing the tables themselves. This is not what one expects from a reputable café chain. It was disappointing to see such hostility from these two barristers and a low standards of service and cleanliness, and I hope management addresses these issues promptly to ensure a better experience for future customers.

I must give a BIG shout out and thanks to Stratford Westfield Monika Zuzan. Sge made my morning hot chocolate drink extremely satisfying. She actually made preparation of it personal to me and for that I am truly grateful!!! Thanks again for being a compliment to the company. ☺

I have frequented Neros over many years on the horsefair branch and never have i been treated so disgracefully. We ordered a vegan pastry slice fir my 4 year old daughter who has a serious allergy to dairy. I asked twice to be sure, that i had been served the correct item and that it was vegan and was told yes if course it is. I got back to my car and gave it straight to my daughter but she said it smekt strange it was only when i got home that i realised that it was definitely not vegan. It is extremely lucky for Nero that she only had a corner of the pastry. Had she eaten it we would probably be tellimg a different story. To make things worse we returned to the shop the following day to ask why we had been served carelessly and the kids behind the counter thought it was funny. I spoke to a young girl who could not care less about their negligence and there was no sign of an apology our caring attitude towards my daughter or us as customers. We werent even able to get our money back on the item Nero need some very serious staff training, its only a matter if time before they kill someone who has serious allergies. I wont be going bsck EVER

I visited 261 High St., Exeter. Bought a cheese/ham toastie, crisps and coffee. Coffee was provided at point of payment but by the time the toastie arrived it went lukewarm almost cold. There was no sauce no pepper or salt so that did not suit. Whilst waiting I noticed the state of the floor and doormat. Sadly the person who keeps this clean has left some time ago and there has been no replacement. All in all it was a rubbish visit and a big disappointment as to what I have enjoyed when visiting same company in Plymouth.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Cafe Nero in West Hampstead, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that surpassed all my expectations. The staff at this location are exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit a delight. A special mention must go to Panagiota Panagiotidou, whose skill in crafting the perfect frappe is simply unparalleled. I've visited numerous Cafe Nero locations, but none come close to the magic she brings to this beloved beverage. Every sip of her frappe is a testament to her dedication and expertise – it truly is the best in the world. Thank you, Panagiota, for your incredible service and for making each visit to Cafe Nero West Hampstead a memorable one. Your frappes are a must-try for anyone seeking a magical coffee experience!

There are a handful of coffee shops in Knutsford, but Café Nero is by far the best. The shop has a large menu of hot and cold drinks, selected sandwiches, and cakes, the vibe is friendly and inviting, and the service swift and polite. The girls, Charlotte, Ana, Evie, Cheryl and everyone else, are consistently polite to customers, working tirelessly to manage a fairly sizeable coffee shop seamlessly, even remember regular's names, greeting then cheerfully. Would defo recommend!

I like Cafe Nero, the prices are kind of high, but the atmosphere and staff are usually welcoming. A big complaint that I have is about non-customers coming in just to sit, charge their phones, use their laptops, or use the bathrooms. They don't buy. Some of these are homeless people, they'll grab a cup of water, then sit in a corner. There are times when Nero resembles a waiting room or a half way house. Staff reaction to this varies, some will ask people to either buy or leave, others choose to ignore them because they don't want any confrontation. Another issue is cleanliness, some stores look great, others look like the floors never get swept or mopped, tables never get wiped down, and upholstered chairs can be downright filthy. Overworked staff? Understaffed? No desire to have a professional cleaner come in once a month? No idea. Still, Nero is a nice place, just wish the aforementioned issues were addressed.

I have a coffee most days in your Billericay branch with my dog and all of your staff are so friendly and efficient, however I have to make a special mention of Tracey who is absolutely superb and so friendly to all customers and our dogs. Thank you Tracey and all of your barista colleagues 👍😊

Myself and a friend called in for coffee and cake on Wednesday at 8.05 pm and we're made not very welcome just assumed we should have a carry out went to put coffees in paper cups instead of asking when we corrected him by saying we are sitting in he replied we are closing soon even though there was 55 minutes before closing we certainly won't be returning in future it was the Nero on upper level of metro centre

Nice coffee and general surroundings usually good. However, background music is too loud . If you have a hearing impairment or suffer from Tinnitus, it is very distressing. If you don’t suffer from Tinnitus, it is very likely to contribute considerably to causing it. It must also be very distressing for people with Autism. On the other hand, the selection of music is usually very nice. I like classical music!
