“Bought many fish and coral and products online and in store over the past three years, when there have been issues, they have been fair and responsive to my concerns and usually replace or help me understand more about the issue. I tend to wait for livestock sales, as prices can be high, to be fair the sales are frequent and I don't really know what's happening in the market for specific fish etc. In my opinion, Candy Corals is one of the best online stores in Canada and coral images versus what you actually receive is always good, they do a good job in the coral department and overall too. “I have never left a bad review at any store before, and this was the first time that I have had anywhere near a bad experience at any saltwater/aquarium shop even after having visited every single saltwater shop in the GTA and even some outside of this area. -20% of the fish not in the frag tanks were either dead, dying or visibly ill. -Bought a mandarin goby, ended up finding out that it has both ich and some kind of fungal infection once I was able to see it under a light. (Mandarin gobies rarely get ich....) -Bought a couple snails, only 1 was alive (checked the bag as soon as I left the store) - Had to wait 35 minutes to buy one fish but there were only two customers and only one came before me. - Asked where a particular fish was and they said "somewhere in one of these tanks, then walked away" -Owner and staff are not friendly, (not saying that they're rude per-se) -Two staff members and the owner were there, but none of them wanted to come bag up my fish and ring up my order until it was 5 minutes left to closing time. Honestly, it is my fault for making a purchase even after seeing all the dead fish in the same tank that my goby was in I will not be returning to Candy Corals, I would suggest going to Aquarium Depot or Frag Box instead of here. Please treat your customers with a little bit more respect and treat the fish more like living creatures rather than expendable commodities. I really hope that I just came in on a bad day and that the death rate of your fish is not usually this high. Whatever your quarantine solution is, its clearly not working.”

“His showroom says it all. You can tell a lot about an individual by the way they keep their space. Afnan is first class, in showroom, service and shipping and you can’t find a better selection of corals around. He isn’t just selling you a coral, he’s selling you a piece from his collection. If you haven’t had a chance to visit you won’t be disappointed. Well done Afnan!”

“Hi Scott here, This is my first time ordering from Candy Corals, and i do have to admit ,I have " no complaints ". Everything arrived safely, no damage and all was well packed. I spoke with a few members of their staff and I was very impressed with the knowledge they have on their products. for me that's all the difference in making a sale. oh!!!! lets not forget , a very friendly staff . definitely be making more purchases in the near future thank you Candy Corals Scott”

“The owner called me to inform me that the fish I ordered was not in the best health he could be, and offered to send the order later with a healthier-looking fish! I've really appreciated the transparency and care for me as a customer. I agreed to wait an extra week for my fish and could not be happier! Great customer service.”

“Candy corals made me happy by always having a nice selection at a reasonable price without being sold out too much I did a lot of coral shopping over the past year at certain other places I care not the name FB corals and they seem to be sold out a lot although very friendly I want it when I want it and Candy corals is a place to get it thank you so much also they package their stuff extremely well thank you and good job”

“I had two DOA (Blenny and red fire shrimp). I sent photos and 3 emails. I have not received a reply or refund. I read the reviews prior to ordering from them but I did not receive the same customer service as those that left positive responses.”

“You won't find a cleaner more organized store in Southwestern Ontario. You can tell Afnan takes pride in his work and the hobby from the moment you enter his facility. The tanks are pristine and heavily stocked with some of the most colorful corals you'll find in the hobby. Whether you're new to the hobby or an experienced collector, Afnan has something for you. This facility is a must see for everyone. It's always a pleasure and definitely worth a two hour drive. Keep bringing that Candy in Afnan!!”

“Great service, they will answer any question that you have, they took pictures/videos of anything I was interested of buying. I am also very impressed of the way the livestock is shipped, very well packaged, I had my order shipped overnight and the fish ate the same day I received them. Highly recommend them.”
