Wrong item sent and had to return it and wait for Canine Concepts to receive the item back before I received a full refund. Item I requested was actually out of stock and unavailable.

Dear Rosemary, Thank you for your feedback. I can see we arranged collection of the incorrect item, but the date you gave us was in the future, which is what delayed the refund. The refund was processed immediately. We apologise for the incorrect item sent. Sadly, we had run out of the larger size and we can see that you need it immediately, so couldn't send you the item in the 3-4 days't time we were expecting them in. The quality of the gate was very poor. the first one had to be returned as it arrived damaged. The replacement is broken after three weeks - very disappointed.

bought this for our working sheep dog. Neck too large so one wriggle and he is out of it. we never got the option of a red or blue and a bright pink one arrived. Waste of money grrr

Dear Clare, As we advised you on the 8th of December, the labels take 6-8 weeks to get to us. We did give you that information and the option to cancel at the time, if you did not want to wait that long. The information is also in the website. If you did not want to wait that long, then please let us know and we can cancel your and fully refund your order, but giving a negative review for information you already have is not very fair. The customised labels take 6-8 weeks as advised on the website. If you want to cancel your order, then please let us know and we can fully refund. The reviews are meant to rate the company, not the timescales that are already advised in the website. Kind regards, Patricia

Dear Julie, Thank you for your review, we did contact you the same day you placed your order, advising that the chocolate mesh covers were not going to be available for some weeks and you did mention you were happy to wait for them to come into stock. I ordered a Vari-Sky kennel to transport my puppy from the UK to my home in Denmark and I was on a tight travel schedule. Although it arrived reasonably quickly, I was charged for delivery eventhough the order was over £50 and, more importantly the kennel arrived with broken components and was unusable. It took several attempts to contact Canine Concepts by phone and email and had to source a kennel elsewhere. I then had to chase up to get a refund after the faulty kennel was collected. It made an already stressful situation much more complicated.

Dear Magda, Thank you for your feedback. You needed the varikennel for next day delivery, which is why you choose to pay the extra for next day shipping. Free delivery is for a 3 day service. You did contact us 3 days after delivery of your parcel, which was Friday. If you had contacted us before then, when you received your parcel , the resolution would have been immediate. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday. The parcel was picked up at your chosen date and you were fully refunded. We can only help when we are advised when there is a problem, during our opening hours. Kind regards, Patricia

This isn't a problem with Canine Concepts, it's a problem with the item we ordered. It was rather cheaply made, and the £75 dog bed we ordered was destroyed by our dog within 3 days of owning it. Again, not the retailer's fault, but we're not very happy about purchasing such an expensive item that has been completely unfit for purpose.

the boots failed to stay on at all and any movement they fell off. I taped them on to help but they were shredded and unusable after one day.

Kong on/off squeakers was sold as a heavy duty toy, my Labrador had chewed all of the fluffy covering off within 2 days, then proceeded to bite through the whole thing. We're not very pleased with the quality of this item, therefore a very poor review.

Although the actual pads seem to be ok, I was disappointed at the size, too small, so I feel this has been a waste of money. I did measure my poodle correctly, but far too tight.

Very poor packaging!!! And after contacting the company there has still been no reply. I have a dog grooming salon , show dogs . Won't be using again , and definitely won't recommend

Dear Lisa, Thank you for your review. We did reply on the 13th April , two hours after your email and apologised for the packaging, which was sent directly from the supplier. We also passed on your comments to the suppliers, so that they can improve their packaging. We did ask if there was anything damaged or faulty, so that we could correct it straight away, but did not hear back from you. Please do give us a call on 01869 349 777, if there is anything to be rectified in your order.
