“I would not choose CarFinance247 for car finance again even if they were the only car finance provider on earth!
I bought a vehicle in April 2025 and 1 month after purchase, the car broke down as the water pulley fell apart, causing the belt to then snap. I was then told to take the car to my local garage and report this to A1 warranties, as I was provided a free 3 month warranty with them. A1 then took 2 months to get back to us, only to refuse to cover this under warranty, therefore I had to pay for the repair myself after 2 months of having no car. Then 1 week later the car broke down again, same issue.
At this point I had no faith in the vehicle and requested to reject the vehicle, now over a year later, this is still not resolved after being passed from CarFinance247 to Startline Motor Finance and then the Financial Ombudsman who sided with me, but Startline couldn't accept that and asked for it to go to final decision which took another 6 months, only for the final decision maker to make the same decision.
The Ombudsman gave them 4 weeks to resolve the complaint, wind down the agreement and refund me, it is now 4 weeks and 5 days and Startline have still not done anything at all and fob me off everytime I call them and say that CarFinance247 are holding it up as they won't pay the garage (where the car has been sat for the past year) the storage fees, which is completely their fault fir dragging this out so long and nothing to do with me.
So be warned, Startline Motor Finance and CarFinance247 are so corrupt that they don't even abide the Ombudsman’s rulings! Stay away from these businesses!”

“Eikan my account manager created a new finance on my car through alphera but failed to sort out my settlement so I have 2 finance companies claiming ownership of my vehicle and demanding payments from me, as soon as there was an issue Eikan disappeared and was not contactable”

I applied for van finance on 27/07, and initially everything proceeded without any issues. The finance was approved, and I subsequently found a suitable vehicle. After discussing the vehicle with the dealer, I was informed that it has a minor issue. I immediately notified the broker on 247 car finances. The advisor handling my application assured me that this would not be a problem, stating clearly that I would be covered by their warranty and that I was fully protected.I asked them several times if everything was ok to make sure I would get the van because I desperately needed a van for my new job. I ve been told everything is OK I set a day to go collect the van and when I was on the way to collect it the dealer told me that 24.7 had canceled the financing WITHOUT ANY NOTICE ..I call the guy from 247 who handled my case and who knew absolutely everything about the situation and started to absolve himself of guilt which is disgusting.Also, the 24/7 customer service is very disappointing. Every time I called them to talk about my file, they told me that someone would call me back, which never happened.”

I was pressurised into confirming my ID several times, Eventually I confirmed it, But then the man took offence of my attitude and thought I was deliberately having a go at him, But I wasn't and He made me feel Violated by his attitude, I am submitting a formal complaint to the management of the company”
