“I purchased a tortoise iphone 18 pro case.
Shipping is not the greatest. My case arrived smashed in a burst-open box. I had to wipe the case down completely with a microfiber cloth to make sure it didn’t have scratches on it because there were finger print smudges on the back of it. The box containing the case is a completely open-faced one so my case was dirty before I touched it myself. That is very unappealing.
The case itself is also really dark. It feels more black than anything. I expected a more vibrant tortoise appearance and it’s not that at all. The only benefit I see with this purchase is the camera lens protection but otherwise I would never buy this product again. It’s not of the value I expected it would be.”

“I would give this case zero stars if the system allowed me to. This is by far the worst quality case that I have ever purchased from a name brand company. My pelican case that I had for my iPhone 14 Pro was perfect because it actually protected my phone from drops as promised. However, I trusted this brand with my brand new iPhone 18 Pro because the reliability was so good for my previous case. However, after less than four hours of being able to use my phone, I accidentally dropped it, and the case did nothing to protect the screen. The low profile of the case, non-beveled edges, and lack of surface coverage for the case failed to protect the screen in ways that my previous case would have and did in a similar circumstance. Casemate refused to admit that their poor quality contributed to the damage on my phone. The phone was dropped from less than 4 feet in height. I highly recommend that you do not purchase anything from Case-Mate, as the company does uphold its promises to protect your valuable equipment. Do not advertise that you have 24 foot drop protection if a silicone case would provide more protection. There is lack of coverage to the front of the phone, it has a low profile, and the accessory doors are a joke on this. Do not waste your money. Invest in protection from a company that will actually deliver what it promises. That company is definitely not this one. I asked for the company to assist me with paying for the repair to my phone, and the company refused. Their false advertising led to a false sense of security when their previous cases actually used to deliver on that promise. I tried multiple times to upload photos of the lack of coverage to my phone, and subsequent damage, but this review system will not accept my iPhone photos. Seems very convenient since is a negative review.
Bottom line: Do not waste your money on either Case-Mate or Pelican.”
“The Soap Bubble case turned yellow-green just shy of only 9 months of normal use. For $50 I expected more from a case. It’s quite ugly now and the next case I purchase won’t be from casemate because they wouldn’t honor the warranty. If it’s going to yellow within the 1 year warranty then they should state in the description that it’s going to yellow. Either that or honor your warranty.”
“My first ever experience with Case Mate was with my Iphone 8, it was similar to this design but it had a rough texture and that slipped out of my hands.
For the life of me Case Mate decided to make the case smooth for the Iphone 15 pro max and guess what, its slippery as hell so it slipped off my hands and broke the screen.
One of think people who design this know that slippery cases just increase the chances of dropping the phone. lol”
