I wanted to replace a cat door that was fitted through a wall. We got 'visitors'. I enquired about this and was assured by someone on the phone that it was a straight swop. I bought the part as I was told. IT DID NOT FIT. I telephoned the company, to be told it never would fit!! Fortunately I have a very handy husband who has altered it and made it fit. No help from the company, and my cat has difficulty using it, as the magnet has to touch the plate to trigger it to release, and then it shuts off again very quickly. My cat is a little slow and cannot push the door quickly enough. Not a good purchase.

They're a nice shape & they're easy to install, easy to take apart for cleaning too. They're not see through on the frame & are frosted plastic which is a shame as the old see through ones were nicer & had better visibility for the cat. The locks work fine if your cat isn't the type to ram the cat flap when it's locked which my cats do which makes the locks fly off. It doesn't break them & they can be clipped back on but it doesn't stop the cat from getting out. The magnets aren't strong enough & the door flaps open continually in strong winds. Don't over tighten the screws to avoid cracking the plastic ! Nice design but there's room for improvement.

I've used the product before so know the quality but your deliver partner (yodel) is very poor, would sooner have paid a little extra if you used a company which gave a delivery time such as DPD.

I was pretty disappointed with my delivery as it was sent to my work address but had no name on the label. Since I work in an office block, they didn't know that it was intended for me and I only found the delivery days later when I asked if anything had been received for me at reception. Pretty poor

Havn't installed it yet.It was only when I received it that I realised it was only suitable for very thin doors or panels whereas my door is 2" thick. Should I have been able to discover this from the entry on the website?

Your delivery process leaves a lot to be desired. I have just obtained your product so haven't had the opportunity to fit and try it yet. However I found having to sign for the delivery to be extremely awkward. I am never at home during the day and have no neighbours. I had to drive a 50 mile return journey to collect my parcel and finding the actual depot was also problematic as it wasn't signposted (it is located behind an old factory estate which is a wasteland) and due to automated answering system I could not contact them to find the place. It took 45 minutes to find them. This is the only time I have experienced this level of inconvenience for obtaining a purchase bought on-line.

I have rated this as a poor product, firstly because putting it together was quite tricky ( we were replacing an old cat flap that any old cat could come through) to a microchip. Our cat has not been able to go out or in on his own as he doesn't like the clicking noise, he's quite timid. There is no digital display, just two buttons which do various different things but you have to work out how many times you need to press them and listen out for beeps. In this day and age of the digital world I was expecting something a little more hi tech and a little less clunky without a big scanning porch! Plus now when we encourage our cat to go out through it (by opening the flap a little) he will go through but the flap doesn't shut behind him as it gets stuck!!! A complete waste of time because now we are back to 'any old cat coming through!'

Cat flap looks ok, but it was sent to the wrong house. I wrote number 37, but it was sent to 34. Number 34 was away, so it was left on the door step and was taken in by another neighbour. Took us a while to track it down, which was rather inconvenient.

Having given this company 5 star review a couple of days back, I now need to revise that feedback. When the cat flap arrived the magnetic catch didn't work so I emailed them. They told me to contact the manufacturer for advice or replacement. I don't think so! I reminded them that as I had purchased it from them they were responsible to ensure what they are selling is fit for purpose. They have now agreed that I should return it to them for a refund. I should think so too!

Product arrived quite quickly and the sales staff were very helpful with helping select the correct item. However, postage seems somewhat excessive almost doubling the cost for this one flap

I just received your request for feedback. The cat flap I ordered 6days ago has not arrived. The extra pennies for first class postage must be worth it to deliver in good time. Will you send me another feedback request when you deliver the order?

Put in an order on Wednesday, it is now Saturday and I'm being asked to write a review:- "I still haven't received my order". That sums it up :-(

Hi Hayden, I have just tracked your delivery and it is showing as out for delivery today (Sat). Might have been delayed as yesterday was bank holiday Friday.

The cat flap has still not arrived. I have not be notified that it has been sent. About two weeks after ordering I chased up and was eventually told it was out of stock but should be in at the end of the week. That was last week....

I'm having to get a replacement from Pet Mate; the double flashing light that is meant to indicate that the sensors need cleaning, has been going off since the catflap was fitted, last week. I hope the replacement one is ok. On the plus side, the intruder cat can't get in.

Very poor service from this company. I ordered on 19 December and got confirmation that goods were despatched on 22 December. When I chased up the order on 30 December they said that item had not even been collected by courier until 29 December. Even then, I didn't get the item until 2 January, even though courier sent text to say it was arriving the previous day. I asked for the delivery charge to be refunded and it was. They will say that the problem was with the courier but they misinformed me that the goods hadn't been collected yet and then failed to inform me that their was a delay.
