“I’ve been a customer for a few years now. I’ve noticed in more and more of the bags I receive that there are large chunks of coconut fibers. (Like a tumble weed)
It appears that they didn’t shred properly when going through the machine. A clump here and there is fine. But I’m seeing it more and more. And I have to break them apart or just toss out the chunks.
Just wondering what has changed cuz I’m wasting litter over here.”
“I do love this product mostly because it is biodegradable. But because it is so light it goes everywhere in our bathroom, we have tried numerous things, a deep litter box, space carpet, door mats, and even cat litter box mats. The cleaning is ok, but smell of ammonia can get really bad so I use baking soda with it to extend litter weekly.”

Recently, I did try to modify my order. All I can say is that the website is abysmal. I was completely shut out. A phone call went unanswered.

“Love the flush ability of the solids and considerably less tracking mess. Odor control has been a challenge and I’m now changing out the box twice weekly to manage it for two cats, along with an essential oil reed diffuser electric air purifier.”
“Unfortunately my cats are not crazy about it. I like the fact that it's really light and that it's completely natural since it's all coconut rind but it's tracking quite a bit. This makes the area immediate to the litterbox pretty messy. I wish I had all praising words about it. Thank you.”
“Sadly this litter is no longer dust free! The litter quality seems to have changed as it is no longer dust free. Seriously considering changing back to my old walnut shell litter which is also not dust free but less expensive”

“I had cat spot before but we moved and I wasn’t getting my packages so ended up getting 3 boxes all at once. I cancelled temporarily and when I started back up I had to start a whole new account and of course the price went up by $1.20. I also miss the zip close bags they used to have. I have to be really careful about not spilling it now . Otherwise I love the ease, light weight litter and the natural coconut. I t use to be more effective on odor Control but could be just my cat.”

Lately, the litter leaves a film of dust all over. I don't mean sweeping, I do that each day.
The odor control is not what they said it would be.
We loved the lightness of the litter and the delivery. It was so convenient.
Our litter is cleaned twice a day. The dust became out of control.
This is why I canceled our subscription.”
“Overall it is a good litter. Light weight, all natural and helps control the odor. I like the idea you can flush it, spread it on your lawn, etc. We have 3 cats and none of them had any issues with it. However if you have a long hair cat this litter is probably not the best choice. Since it is light weight it would get caught in her long fur and she would track it around the house. Also it is advertised as "dust free" and it is not. Whenever I cleaned the room where the litter boxes were I would find a thin layer of brown dust on the cabinets, counter tops etc.”
“I REALLY wanted to love Cat Spot litter, because I already love it’s natural sustainable ingredients and the fact that there are no fragrances etc added.
However, even though we got a few bags of the clumping type, it just doesn’t clump well at all.
😞 I wish it did and we would stick with it. But we care for 14 rescued cats and have 9 litter boxes so clump-ability is very important. We have been using Smart Cat litter for years (but it’s pretty expensive) but might switch to Garfield cat litter which is made with corn and cassava and clumps really well.
I’d be willing to try Cat Spot again if the clumping action were improved without compromising its chemical-free quality.
