“I chose a dress in March for my daughters wedding at the beginning of August and didn’t have the greatest experience as there wasn’t a lot to try on in my size and didn’t like any of them so when I tried on the one I bought it was a beautiful dress and I liked it but on hindsight it is totally the wrong shape for me and after even losing a bit of weight still didn’t look great on me so I have worried about it since. I came back to the shop last weekend and took the dress and matching shoes and bag which cost me just over £1100 and tried it on before trying anything else on to let the assistant see it and it was agreed that the style and the colour really didn’t suit me. I tried a few different dresses including the same dress but in a darker colour, which did suit me a bit better but I was really disappointed that there was no come & go regarding possibly swapping the dress or even the bag & shoes to a different colour and would have to buy everything again. They did say eventually if I bought another dress they would give 10% off but was just really disappointed with them and their rigidity and no compassion for the situation I was in and the dress was still this years stock. I was also a returning customer having bought my outfit for my sons wedding 3 years ago. I would have liked a bit of honesty regarding the style when I purchased and only got that when I returned but nothing could be done.”
“Weird sizes, very high prices, 100's of dollars later you'll be lucky if you can wear one item. I had an item backordered for months when it finally came all you see is my bra. The shipping is outrageous. Its lower if you pay 15+ a month. What a waste of time and money.”
“Had a very bad experience Bought a dress for my son’s wedding but I felt some of the jewels on bodice were loose. So I paid for dress & on the day of purchase left it to be fixed .Telephoned 1week later and was told I cannot pick the dress up on a Saturday or Sunday . I work Monday to Friday so not off to a great start
When I went in to pick my dress up it was sealed in a bag wasn’t offered to see the dress got it home hung it up thinking nothing of it .Then tried the dress on at home around a week later to find that the dress was very tight around the bodice and pulled slightly (just didn’t sit properly at all ) at the back of dress I called the store to be totally insulted and was told that I must have put on weight this was the manager that told me this and she had seen this time and time again remembering this is all within a space of 2weeks I’ve been the same size in my clothes for years and years which is a size 8 . Totally disgusted at how I was treated , ruined my whole experience wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone they are only driven by the sales and not customer service Ever time I think of my experience it sends shivers down me I ended up going somewhere in England for my perfect dress”
