“This company could fix a teenage boy to a nympho. Like Brexit means the company lost. After two weeks my part is somewhere, they don’t know. I start today to get my bank involved. They inept at best or fraudulent.”

“I bought a Ragley bike frame on Chain Reaction Cycles. The frame had a factory defect, unsuitable for use. I sent a warranty claim, but it's been more than three weeks and I still haven't received a reply! Every time they promise to answer later! The disgusting Chinese quality of the Ragley frame and the disgusting service of Chain Reaction Cycles!”

“I ordered and paid for a bike from ChainReactionCycles and received an order confirmation. 10 days later expecting to receive the bike I instead get an email telling me that they have cancelled my order due to some nonsense story about how their website stock doesn't reflect their actual stock. Interestingly, during that time the price of the bike increased on their website. I emailed ChainReactionCycles and asked if they could just bill me again and send me a bike when they get one, even if that were to take a couple of months. Their response to that was to tell me that they don't do pre-orders. I had ordered one already and they had confirmed it and kept my money for 10 days. How would this be a pre-order? After several back and forth emails, they just spat in my face with the offer of a $15 voucher.”

“CRC Customer service is misleading. I bought a bike and was expecting to get it delivered between 5 to 7 days as stated on their website but 7 days went past and the item hasn't been shipped yet. CRC creates a tracking number to send item way before its dispatch time. So when you try tracking the item it doenst have any record. By talking to their customer service they blame the courier but I called Parcel Force and they said the item hasn't been collected even though CRC claims so through their customer service. It's very poor behaviour by CRC and if I was the marketing head of a brand like Vitus I'd be very worried about adding this sort of experience to the sale of my products. I still haven't received my bike, now 7 days after the purchase. No one knows when I'll receive my bike. My hard earned money won't be going to CRC again, that's for sure. I've been told they are populating Trustpilot with fake reviews too.”

“The biggest Scamers on Online Shopping It seems this company is just taking orders from people, take their money and do not deliver. The whole Internet is full with bad reviews on them doing just that. I placed an order more thn 3 weeks ago that misteriously "vanished". Asked for feedbck and every time the reply is they need a week to "investigate". The tracking number they provided is not existing with the Courier they advised. I asked for refund, no reply! So, DO NOT TRUST THEM! They will simply take your money and you will never receive your order.”

“I believe this company is a completely fraud. Gift Voucher bought for 200 Euro, order placed...then ordered lost! Zero attention from the Customer Service team, money refund is not provided either. It is a complete waste of time and money!”

“If you are foolish enough to place an order with Chain Reaction Cycles, this is what you can expect: 1. Your order may or may not be delivered. If it isn't delivered, you probably won't get your money back. 2. If it is delivered, the goods your ordered may be defective. If they are, you won't get your money back. 3. If you try to deal with their "customer service" reps you can expect dishonesty, deception, staggering incompetence and contempt. 4. If they've made a mistake, they will never admit it or apologize for it. 5. They couldn't care less if you're unhappy with their "service". Do yourself a favour, NEVER place an order with this outift.”

“Ordered 10 speed chain on Wednesday. Pay for next day delivery (£4:99) as needed for Saturday morning. It's now Saturday still not arrived. So Had to go to Halfords for a chain. Tried contacting then Friday. Theres no phone number you have to use chat or email. ALL I WANT IS TO SPEED TO SOMEONE NOT LEFT IN THE DARK. According to tracker it's not even been picked up yet. Rubbish custom service, been shopping with the for year, now 2nd time been let down. Never again good by.”

“Terrible customer service. Bike part faulty and identified after 20 minutes of cycling. Reported to Chain Reaction Cycles who are refusing to offer any help/advice, let alone a refund, and claiming I caused the fault. I would not buy anything from this company again and would encourage others to avoid too.”

“Terrible after sales. Bike for my daughter arrived damaged and the wrong size. Customer services cannot be contacted on the phone so had to email. Took 3 days to get a reply, which asked for photos of the damage and packaging and did not mention the bike being the wrong size. Sent photos of damage and again asked about bike being the wrong size. This time customer services advised me to take the bike to my local bike shop and get the seat post cut down (!), but did not comment on the damage to the bike - very frustrating because you know you will have to wait a few days for a reply each time you email customer services. Nearly a week on now so I am going to cut the seat post down and touch up the damaged paint as my daughter wants to use her bike. I've ordered small items many times from Chain Reaction but would definitely NOT buy an actual bike from them again. Really disappointing...”

“Customer service is non existent. My order never arrived and to get a refund they wanted me to sign a declaration form that implies that I am not making a fraudulent claim. Took more than 3 months to make a refund and do note, it’s their policy that refunds will only be made after the item arrives back in their warehouse. Don’t waste time with CRC.”

“Bought a Gt Gtr Comp that was sent to me really badly set up, they asked me to take it to a local companies for repair, they bike shops both said there was something weird going inside for the cabling, it took over a month for CRC to collect the bike, then 3 weeks to get the bike back, when it came back it was worse than before with damage to the frame, forks and they didn’t even send the pedals back. They offered me £50 cash back and a set of BMX pedals as compensation, I asked them to collect the bike and refund me, it was collected a week later then 5 days later it came back again, it’s taken nearly three months, about 40 emails ,10 Live chats And waiting in three days for a delivery too solve a problem for a bike that was sent to me faulty, which they had admitted. Not once have I had a proper apology, just a sorry for the late response from them which happened every single time, go elsewhere, I cannot stress that enough.”

“Dreadful customer service they have taken 11 weeks and am still waiting for my money back for an order they didn’t deliver . Any company that would deal with Hermes has to be a joke after dealing with CRC for over 10 years I will be going elsewhere. And do t try and contact them or Hermes you have more chance of contacting aliens on Mars”
