The entire order experience was embarrassingly bad. I placed an order on April 6. 2 weeks later, without seeing an update on the Day&Ross (delivery provider) tracking page, I called and found out they tried, unsuccessfully, to deliver the chairs to somewhere in Ontario (despite thee fact that I’m in BC). Customer service at ChefEquipment told me the order had already been routed to my correct address. Days later, I called Day & Ross, and they confirmed the chairs were still in the warehouse in Ontario. Fortunately, ChefEquipment finally just gave up and canceled my order on April 29. Today (May 7) Day&Ross called to proudly tell me they were ready to deliver my chairs. I laughed and told them I’d received a full refund and to not deliver the chairs. I’m guessing they’re normally better than this - maybe larger orders are easier for them - but this was one of the worst buying experiences I’ve had.

Not a reputable place to purchase from. My order was messed up - they missed sending me a bench scraper with the order, and sent me an extra basket strainer (which I have absolutely no use for). I sent two emails to customer service, and sent a message through online chat - all my messages were ignored.

Terrible. My order hasn’t arrived 16 days after it was handed to Canpar. Unable to reach ChefEquipment by phone. Voice message left with no response. My third email was replied to saying they were looking into it. I’ve heard nothing since. Tracking info says zero. I regret placing an order with this company.

Product was defective upon arrival. Multiple attempts made to reach customer service to have item exchanged, but no response.

Just bought a Vollrath Conveyor Toaster that stopped working after about 6 hours (not even one whole day). Emailed ChefEquipment about it and they didn't get back to me at all. Not happy.

This should not be Chinese Chef knife, It is more like a meat cleaver. The knife is 450 gm and that is not the main issue. It is thicker than a Chef knife( especailly to cut veggies and stuff), so even though it is super sharp, it will go through veggies as it should( such as Potataoes or Onions etcc.). The knife buid and sharpness is great, but they made it thicker so it is not good for the intented purpose. I tried returing it is Chefequipment. But they don't take call or reply to emails. So beware if buys somethign from them

Your company is the absolute worst at customer support. Please read your help@ emails. I have written twice and called 3 times....noone answers the phone there. I see no live chat....you dont answer emails and you dont answer the phone!

2 of 3 purchased broke/bent while attempting to score the pies within days, very flimsy 3rd one didn't get damaged because we just didn't use it

The equipment is defective, no one from customer service has gotten back to me. I do not recommend purchasing from this company.
