this was the first time I ordered from ChefEquipment. The product is the same as from other companies I ordered before, however, the customer service is lacking. I was not happy with the delivery, especially with the purolator. I emailed ChefEquipment (and purolator) about this experience but didn't receive any reply from both companies.

The knife itself is good, but when purchasing a $400 knife as a gift you would hope to get a box that looks new. The knife we received had been opened and not put away properly and the box was quite destroyed and had to be taped up before being wrapped.

The product came quickly enough but was not what I needed. It was huge, did not fit well at all. I think even a size smaller would not have fit properly. I gave it away already. Also, the description says 24 pack and there was only one (1).

My first purchase went smoothly, including the shipping. The only issue is that the item description wasn't complete. I bought tubs and a lid. The tubs are very sturdy, but the lid doesn't latch onto the tub; it just sits on it, and very loosely, so I have to tie it down and untie it every time I need to get into it. This isn't just a minor detail, and it seems like it may have been left out on purpose. For bussing it would be fine, but not for food storage.

I have ordered several times and have been happy with the products. This time I had an issue with the wall mount faucet ordered. I emailed my concern asking about a possible replacement and received a response 7 days later? This is unacceptable, and ended up solving the problem myself with a local technician. I prefer to order from a Canadian vendor but will now consider other online vendors including Amazon as they have a no hassle return policy and respond right away to questions.
