“Do not buy from here! I purchased a Tissot watch and returned it in all it's original packaging with the security tag still attached. Chisholm Hunter then told me they couldn't process my refund as I hadn't returned a tiny little card that was enclosed in the package. The card was handwritten and had the watch number on. The watch number is on the back of the watch so I'm sure they could just make another card. The whole returns process was a bit convoluted, you had to email them requesting a refund, then they email you encouraging you to exchange for another item. Then they email you a returns form you have to print. Not everyone has a printer! So they obviously aren't keen on observing consumer rights and giving out a refund and are trying to make the process difficult. Also I had to pay around £9 to return the item via royal mail. I'd bought two watches from two different merchants as I wanted to try them on in real life and the watches I liked were both stocked by different merchants. The watch I kept I had ordered directly from Tissot. If you're considering buying online I'd advise you to avoid this company.”

“Website states: "Order before noon (Monday to Saturday) for next-day delivery" Ordered before 9am on Friday morning expecting a watch on Saturday. Never received a dispatch confirmation so contacted online chat at 4pm on Saturday. Was advised it would be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. So if you need your product promptly I suggest you shop somewhere with more reliable delivery times. Edit: Chisholm Hunter actually phoned to apologise for the misleading info on the website and offered a gesture of goodwill to compensate. Product was as expected and price identical to other stores so updated review to 4 stars.”

“From walking in and browsing to walking out with our perfect weddings bands. My fiance and I have been looking for months for our perfect bands and walked in to this stunning store in Chester and greated by one of the most polite staff we had the pleasure of meeting. Marie offered us a drink and a seat at a table to discuss designs. We had no intentions of purchasing anything just looking as yiu do but marie was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and understanding of budget. The level of professionalism was amazing. Expert advice on which was best and which best suited, Marie made us feel right at home. Maybe more staff need to be trained like this wonderful you lady. We purchased and our rings where sent for sizing. From the moment we sat down to the moment we recieved our ring was a fantastic level of service. Will 100 percent return for any other jewellery we may need or want.”
