Total SCAM. Get ready to call your credit card and fight to remove these charges. Total sales job to unsuspecting, rushed travelers like me. I have traveled the world extensively and you'd think I'd been scammed overseas by now. Nope. It happened right here in USA by CLEAR at an airport: LAX specifically!

People were rude. The payment process is ridiculous. You’ve already charged me then you’re charging me again for the exact same service with some ridiculous promise of a refund. Absolutely positively will never recommend this service

Avoid. No time savings. Just frustrating poor customer service. Bad.

Clear out of Austin took 85 minutes today. And it's a THURSDAY. No, not worth the cost. Hire more employees.

I would leave -5 stars if I could. I signed up for a free trial simply because I was running late one day and needed to get on a flight home. I canceled the trial as I had been given TSA Pre-check access anyway. I have an email confirmation from May, 3rd 2024. I was just charged today, November, 4th 2024, for a subscription I DID NOT RENEW. I immediately called my bank to dispute the charge. By the way, this service only helps you cut the REGULAR security line. It's nothing like TSA Pre-check, where you get through quicker and often go through a shorter line.

I was at CVG airport waiting in line with my friend. A woman cut us in line. Your clear employees which I do have the names of as well as the video, which has also been reviewed by TSA CVG airport, were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. A woman cut us in line and instead of your employees handling the situation appropriately they handled it like high school teenagers who had some petty vengeance against us for no reason. They were 50 year old women bullying 20 year olds at 5:30am for no reason. Something that did not even involve them but they decided to poke their big nose in it. I wouldn’t put it past them if it was a racism problem. We had one race against another and the malicious intent was CLEAR and obvious. It’s sad and unfortunate that this company puts themselves on this high pedal stool as if you are here to help but you created more problems for people who just wanted to go home and was minding their own business. Reflect and do better, be better. The world is bad enough and does not need the people of your company making it worse.

Completely focused on selling memberships and not servicing existing customers. Our experience once again at Love Field this morning was horrendous and the shift “supervisor” was disrespectful and la led both listening and critical thinking skills not to mention tact. Go TSA.

I have only had Clear for a month and have flown 3 times with it. 2 of those 3 times I got ID verified and put in the general line to get my bags through security- what a joke. Waited 20 + minutes. So far I’ve paid $200 to just be put back in line with the general public. Definitely costing me money a waste of time.

BUFFALO CLEAR TEAM Occupied and closed off the entire TSA line when my flight was ALREADY boarding and they proceeded to take my ID and try to register me without my knowledge. I know they’re trying to get people to sign up but don’t be annoying and inconvenient VULTURES jesus christ

Get to ATL airport 2 hours before flight. CLEAR rep convinces me to sign up for 20 minutes. Directs me to clear line, get to clear line and they say they so backed up I'm better off at the regular line. Sends me back so wasted 45 minutes signing up and running around. Now at risk of missing flight. Waste of time and money.

From a CEO of a small business: Used to be a CLEAR fan... now recommend STAY CLEAR of CLEAR! I used to have CLEAR pre-Covid when I traveled 25K miles in 3 months... dropped my membership during Covid. On August 8, 2024, I was leaving Florida via Ft Lauderdale Airport. While in the TSA Pre line, a CLEAR rep asked me if would like to join CLEAR - I said I didn't travel enough now to make it worth it. She asked if I had the AMEX card as I could get the membership refunded. I showed her my Amex Hilton card, and she said that would work. So I said I was willing to do it ONLY on the condition that it would the membership fee would be refunded... she said it would show up in 6-8 weeks. I signed up again - simple, easy, and I do find it convenient at times. I used it just twice, then after 6 weeks roughly I noted I had not seen the refund on my credit card bill yet. Eventually I called CLEAR but was on hold for about 10 minutes - didn't have time to wait longer, so I decided to call my credit card company. I am busy running a business, so when I finally had the chance I speak to a rep, that person said I was misinformed because my Amex card does NOT have that perk! She said it seems to happen quite frequently sadly... and best to contact CLEAR. So I tried contacting CLEAR again - was difficult, couldn't get through, so I sent an email after figuring out where to send the email. I got a response saying that if I cancel within 60 days it would be fully refunded but because I cancelled outside of 60 days there was no refund! NOTE that I tried contacting CLEAR WITHIN the 60 days, couldn't get through, then emailed them just days after the 60 day period (not being aware at the time of the 60 day 'grace period').... AND, considering that I was misinformed BY A CLEAR rep, proper customer service would be to take care of the customer. I tried 3 times, with the same 'rote' response. Finally I contacted my credit card company to submit a dispute. I am quite disillusioned by the lack of customer understanding.

Just a scam! And If you got this service! Every time you're going to get secondary check at the TSA so basically is just like a red flag lol, plus they have the worst customer service!! And they over charge you!! If they have your card information, take my advice and cancel your card now and get a new one before they keep charging you!!

Two representatives, a girl and a guy, stopped our family on our way to our flight. They were talking so fast it was hard to follow and they were being pushy with their offers. They made us make an account even though they knew the line was short at the time. We thought these representatives were part of LAX so we did think much of it…Until they said what we just sign up for is a free trial and we would have to wait October 10 to get an email to cancel the membership. I never got that email and on their site it said we could have cancel the free trial any time before the deadline. My family yelled at them to cancel our membership. They scan our credit card to make it look like they canceled it but my card was still charge on October 10 so they lied to us. If I did happen to check my bank account on October 10th then I would have loss $199. All together my family would had loss around $796; $199 per person. Unless you travel a lot it might be worth your money to skip the line but if you don’t then it’s a total scam. I just can’t excuse their scummy business practices.

Terrible service. TSA Pre check is faster. Almost every time I use clear the TSA Precheck line goes faster. Clear asks me for my ID even though the scanner identifies me. They say Oh it’s just a random check. Well that random check takes longer that just giving TSA Precheck the same ID. It’s not a service I’ll renew and if I could I’d get a refund. The Clear agents seem overwhelmed or poorly trained. Don’t waste your money and respect your time.

Sky harbor, phx - time to replace FADI from your terminal 4 B gates!!!! My husband and I walked through the Clear line, as I had both our boarding passes on my phone. After we were done with Clear for my husband, there were only 3 people in line for TSA Pre, so I walked around the barriers and got in line for TSA Pre (5 feet difference from where I was standing). Fadi proceeded to raise his voice and exclaim that he told me 3 times to go to the TSA line (where I was standing). Global TSA is a federal check and there was no reason for him to behave in this offensive and inappropriate manner. My husband is cancelling his Clear and I will share this experience at every opportunity.

It is totally unacceptable for any third-party business to ascertain 1) a clear "selfie" photo of my face, 2) confirm my email address through the verification code, and 3) verify my phone number again through the confirmation code. And then- upon verifying the 3 above things- this third-party site wants my Government Photo ID. So they need my phone number verified, my email verified, a clearer image of my face, and then either my passport or my driver's license. Just so that I can use LinkedIn!! This is insane. Their help was terrible. This is insane. No way. I wish I could give 0 stars. "Have a Blessed Day"
