“Got to Atlanta airport over an hour before my flight and about to miss my plane.
I am a clear member but they are closed because they don’t have enough employees..but I’ve seen almost 10 employees on the main floor selling clear memberships. Prioritizing selling before serving..feels backwards.”

Reading some of the comments it seems a lot of people aren't even away of what clear actually does they aren't security which is why you still need to go through TSA EVERYONE must go through TSA clear simply verifies your identity ever wonder why you don't need to take out your id or boarding pass while entering g TSA with a Clear agent it's because they pass that info to them for you which is the luxury of having a membership I get to go hands free take my picture and proceed to TSA leave my laptop in my bag and don't have to fumble around with a loose id possibly losing it I don't know ive had nothing but Great experiences with clear and when I went to a few baseball games this year they also had clear at the stadium I was too excited felt like VIP going through the lane the staff there at SMF said if I was pleased with their service to leave a review and I hardly leave them ill say im going to but never do but seeing all the negative comments makes me want to share my positive experiences not once but everytime I use the clear lane I travel weekly for work with security lines backed up hours sometimes and clear has always been no more than a 5 min wait if even that honestly i was a bit confused at first when after 2 weeks my card showed a charge but I remembered the agent telling me that the charge would show up and AMEX would credit my card back which they did and the agent was very thoughtful in explaining clearly what I was signing up for and there were no surprises everything she said was correct and true I hate to see them getting a bum wrap when they have got some great staff who work hard to make your experience a pleasant one ... I will be renewing my membership because I asked questions and got the answers I needed so I wasn't misinformed about what clear is and im able to enjoy them for the service they do provide because it's saved me hours of wait time since enrolling ....”
“They take you out of the TSA line to sign for this service with their system down and still take you out of the long line to sell you their service knowing their system was down, I had to get back in the line and start from scratch and lost my fly.”

It was so slow. That the regular TSA pre check without clear was 9 times faster.
The Clear lady that was at the front w the TSA guy telling us when to approach TSA agent was beyond rude to people.
The line was the worst slowest line in the history of Clear

“It’s just not worth it anymore. What used to be fast. Is not fast anymore. Too many people have clear. It’s faster to go thru Precheck 100% of the time. And the continued price raising is not worth it. Glad I caught my billing renewal before it renewing so I can cancel it. It’s just not worth it I promise.”
“This is a waste in major airports. When needed to get through TSA in Atlanta waste of money. Miami, SFO, waste. Do not spend annually on this. No worth it because more people have Clear. “The customer support is non existent. This company is scamming customers by forcing them to add each family member individually. While they advertise that a family member can be added for $125. There is no way to add them.”
“Clear charged my credit card twice. I disputed the one charge with Amex, who immediately saw the issue. Clear then cancelled my account after I paid them the first charge. Clear membership is a perk of the platinum amex card. They credit my account account for the membership perk yet I have no clear membership. They are a rip off. They insist there is a special number for the transaction which amex says does not exist. Don’t use this company!”
“I would give it a zero this program has become useless you charge a large fee and do nothing like you advertise all your staff stand around and do not help at all the gates are all closed and Noone directs us. “I am on a family plan with my husband and I renewed with my husband‘s plan. At least we thought we were and the agent charged our card $209. He was good to go. I was not good to go in order for me to get through security for clear they had to charge me $209 when I was already on the family plan and we renewed as a family Now we were coming home and they couldn’t even find my information. It was supposed to be a free trial my information is not in the system. They keep saying it’s under the family plan, but they can’t find it there. So yeah, this is not very good. CUSTOMER SERVICE we will not be renewing at all.”
