“The Portra and B&W emulations are nice. I really like the Porta 800.
The Kodachrome product is unusable though. Colors and contrast are pushed to cartoonish and garish levels. Lots of clipping. It looks nothing like the examples on the website.
I also must have misunderstood how the system works, even though I read the website and FAQ. I was sent emulations specific to one camera model. I thought that you buy the base pack for each type of camera, then the emulations work for every camera that you have the base pack for. Super unhappy that if I switch cameras I would have to buy the emulations again.”

Considering that this is a tailored package for Capture One specifically designed for the chosen camera (as clearly stated multiple times on our website and in our FAQs to inform every customer of Capture One's limitations), we would be happy to review the profile to correct any potential errors. Ci dispiace di vedere un feedback simile nonostante il problema sia stato risolto una volta letto cio' che appare chiaramente nel sito, ovvero la necessita' di avere installato il il pacchetto base per la propria fotocamera. Ora tutto funziona come previsto ma rimane questa macchia senza motivo.
“Apparently it only works with true raw files so if the camera produces cr2 or dng I don't understand how they establish the "baseline". If you convert it to Adobe raw it works. But to be honest as someone else mentioned they don't look much different than the adobe color files .”
We are sorry to see this situation unfold, but we did our best to explain to the customer that the files they provided for identifying the exact model of their camera (which carries a different designation for its intended market) were not raw files but compressed JPGs renamed as raw. Without authentic raw files, we cannot determine the exact profile needed. Unfortunately, our emails explaining this issue seem to have caused frustration, leading to this outcome. We cannot reach a solution if we are the only ones seeking it.
We apologize for your experience. Our calibrated profiles are designed to enhance your editing by providing a wider gamut and greater accuracy. For general use, you may not notice a significant difference compared to standard profiles. However, if you are particularly attentive to skin tones or work with reproduction, you'll see a notable improvement
