“I have a 12 year old Trex deck in Michigan. I last purchased Corte Clean 3 or 4 years ago. I cleaned my deck and it worked great. I then purchased some composite deck stain from Sherwin Williams, and applied it, as I didn't want to deal with cleaning. The stain hasn't lasted, as it has began to flake off and look ugly, in addition to the deck getting dirty. I'm back to Corte Clean, which I just purchased again. I'll clean it, then put the large indoor/outdoor carpets down.”

This review is exactly why Corte LLC doesn’t recommend or sell paints, stains or sealers for composite decking, as they are generally a waste of time, money and labor. Why would any person think these products would last on plastic, when these products are sold in a plastic or plastic lined container, generally made from the same plastic as the deck? The expansion and contraction of the composites from cold winters and hot summers, in addition to sun, moisture and ice, tends to rapidly weather these products off. Proactively applying Corte Clean, at the reduced strength, is the key to generally spending much less time and money keeping composites clean.

“I have a trex deck in a new construction home with 2 dogs. The grass just got installed last year along with the deck. This year the deck was so muddy and dirty I thought it would never look like it did last year. I followed the instructions exactly as it was stated and the deck looks brand new. I cannot believe the difference. I did have to rinse it very well to get all of the white residue off. I wish I took a before picture. The results are amazing. I will continue to use the product year after year.”

“I installed my TimberTech deck 6 or 7 years ago and have been using Corte Clean spring and fall to keep it clean, especially of mold and mildew ever since. I originally purchased Corte Clean at Lowe’s, here in New Jersey, but now buy it direct from the company. I just got back from winter in Florida and my deck looks good, but I purchased the product again today for the spring cleaning. Corte Clean is a good product.”

“I installed my Trex deck in 2011 here in Iowa. By 2012, it started getting black mold spots and other stains, especially under the maple tree over our deck. I searched around for the best composite deck cleaner and found Corte Clean. The black spots and other stains just disappear. Give it some time in the sun. Our deck looks brand new. I have been using Corte Clean spring and fall or when I notice new stains ever since. It is a good idea to not let stuff sit on the deck and leech into it and Corte Clean any stains when first noticed. Blow my deck off often, which only takes a minute or two. I just ordered my Corte Clean for my yearly spring cleaning and will again order this fall when I need it, to make sure it is fresh.”

“I have been using Corte Clean for years now. This product works! I have a large TimberTech deck. I had mold all over it, especially after hurricane Sandy. I called TimberTech and they recommended Corte Clean, after trying other products that failed. Don’t even bother wasting your time, just buy Corte Clean. Corte Clean customer service is the best, as they always call you back. I just ordered more, but use much less than when I originally cleaned it.”

“I thought I was going to have to rip out my Evergrain composite deck, and replace it to the tune of $6,000 or 7,000 dollars! It was a mess. Mold and you name it. I talked to Corte Clean customer service, purchased Corte Clean and cleaned my deck last fall. To my surprise, and more importantly, my wife’s, it is still clean this spring. Regardless, I just completed my spring application of Corte Clean to keep the deck clean, as we are about to get 2" of rain here in Wisconsin after a miserable winter and spring so far.”

“I’ve had my TimberTech deck for 9 years. After the first couple of years, it got black mold all over it. This is to be expected here in Wisconsin. I have been using Corte Clean to clean it for 6 years. I just called and ordered.”

“I just re-ordered Corte Clean. I have been using Corte Clean to keep my Trex deck clean of black and green mold for 4 or 5 years. It gets especially bad under the railings and in the other shaded areas here in Virginia. Corte Clean even cleans the mess under the barbecue too.”

“We installed our supposed no maintenance expensive Trex deck 5 or 6 years ago. Within a year, it started getting black spots all over it. I had no idea what it was. I tried several deck cleaners from the local stores. Nothing worked. I then went on the internet and searched. I found Corte Clean, called the company and they explained what was going on, with the black mold and how to clean it and keep it clean. I purchased the Corte Clean and cleaned my deck. It took a more time and Corte Clean, the first time to get clean. I could see all the dirt and mold coming out of the deck. The black spots disappeared. I now proactively apply Corte Clean in the spring, middle of summer and in the fall or when my deck starts to look dirty. This requires one bag of Corte Clean per year to keep my deck clean. Here in Minnesota, we just received two feet of snow two weeks ago, which has since melted, after a long winter. My deck doesn’t really look that bad, but I just re-ordered Corte Clean for the spring cleaning, which I generally do at in April or May when the weather permits. Corte Clean is a great product for keeping Trex decking clean.”

“I have a Trex deck that gets mold and other stains, especially on the stairs. I use to purchase Corte Clean locally, here in St. Charles, IL but no longer can find it. I tried the other products from Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, etc., some that the Trex Company recommends, without the same success. The mold comes back within weeks!!! Some also color fade worse than Corte Clean. I guess they want to sell what keeps you coming back to the store. I just purchased Corte Clean directly from the company. Great product.”

“Corte Clean works AMAZING on TimberTech! I just re-ordered. In Mass, our deck turns green and gets dirty. I have tried other products from the box stores, such as Home Depot & Lowe's when I wasn't willing to wait for shipping or not available locally, and nothing comes even close to Corte Clean.”

“We live in a townhouse with 72 units in Illinois. We replaced our deck with Trex 7 years ago. Corte Clean works great in keeping it clean. It looks like new. I just ordered more so our son can clean it when it stops snowing. We tell everyone in our community about Corte Clean.”

“I have a Trex deck which was installed in approximately 2001 here in Kenmore, WA. We get lots of rain. This winter I think we have had only 3 or 4 sunny days. My Trex deck gets green with mold and other stains when I neglect it. I have been using Corte Clean for years to clean it. It works! I just re-ordered and will be proactively using it to keep my deck clean. I just installed a new composite deck, not Trex, from Home Depot. We will see if I need Corte Clean to keep this deck clean too?”
