Sarah helped me, and she was very efficient on the call to explain my options and set up my service. Zero complaints about my experience with Sarah—thank you! However, I am very bummed about my overall internet setup experience. I believe when we chatted on 11/20, we agreed on service starting Monday, 11/24. I received my Xfinity equipment Tuesday, 11/25, and am still unable to use it on the evening of Wednesday 11/26. I don’t know if this is an Xfinity issue, but they do not recognize my account based on phone number, email, or account number. And when I reached out to the Connect team, that is all the information I could confirm with them. I’m still unable to use my WiFi, not sure if that’s an Xfinity or Connect issue, and working from home using my mobile hotspot. My phone calls with the team have been professional, but I’m at a brick wall. Xfinity’s support line wont even let you proceed without confirming account details…which apparently don’t exist for me. Unless there’s a very long delay and Xfinity suddenly recognizes my account in a few days, I will likely need to cancel and sign up for service elsewhere.

Connect did not get my official Service start date correct, which resulted in my Internet Service starting without actually even moving in yet! This resulted in me paying 2 Internet Service bills simultaneously. This unfortunate endeavor made me wait through hours of customer service calls and hold music, and was an unbearable experience that could’ve been avoided.

Took 2 calls, a solid hour, and two reps to do what I could’ve done online. Original rep was late, put me on hold, transferred me to another rep who then put me on hold again and somehow lost the call, texting me to hang up and call back.

Ryan helped setup my spectrum internet account but ordered me a wifi router along with the modem when I stated on the form I only need the modem. Now I have to waste time returning the router to a spectrum location and ask for a refund. Tried reaching out to Ryan but crickets.
