“Sold used Generator as new. Already had gas and oil in it and would not start. Cost over $1000 and I still lost $1000 in food because of extended power outage. DO NOT BUY FROM UNTRUST WORTHY VENDOR.”
“They claim to have an item in stock. I messaged them after the supposed arrival date had come and gone. Their reply was it was on back order and due in 45 days! I asked for a refund and my order canceled. They replied that they would send it as soon as it arrived. Not good enough. Now to file a complaint with the BBB and go to the bank to claim fraud.”
“CPO falsely advertises items as a set of six, then only sends one item. They claim there was "some error" with the description. 4 years worth of complaints & they still haven't fixed this "error". At this point, it's not an error, it's fraud. CPO outlet reviews show a history of false, inaccurate item descriptions on other items they sell as well. When a company accepts a credit card payment, they are entering into a contract, "oops, sorry" doesn't cut it. I will be contacting Walmart, Visa, the state attorney general and the federal trade commission to file a fraud/false advertising & price gouging complaint.”
“I received a leaf blower that had to have been used already because when I went to put gas in the little tank, it stunk of gas. Friends told me to return it on the a lot, but I hoped it was just someone who changed their mind and that the unit worked. I used it once With good results. Second time, total meltdown. While the website said free 90 day returns, I was told that I could not return it because I had put gas in it. Well, somebody else had before me yet your company still shipped it. Even though now they say it’s illegal to.
I feel the agent should have offered some kind of credit or to just replace it. Tell me to drop it off at a Troy establishment, let them verify it’s a lemon, and replace it. But none of that happened. They told me to just go deal with Troy. Very, very unsatisfied. I’m a consumer to whom 270 dollars means a lot. You are a company to whom it means nothing. Either have an asterisk next to the “free 90 day guarantee” or don’t post it at all. Or better yet, let me bring it to a troy establishment where they can verify it is a lemon, and then offer to replace it. In a time where Amazon exists, I really think CPO should reevaluate how it values and treats its customers. Im sooooo sorry I purchased from you.”
“I ordered a reconditioned pneumatic nailer. When I received it there were 2 nails jammed in the magazine and the gun wouldn't fire. I sent it back to exchange it for another gun. I received the gun and it had the exact same issue. I called to request a refund. They did send a label for the return and I was told the refund would be processed as soon as they received it. It was delivered to them on the second of May. On the 10th I called to inquire about the refund and was told it would be processed in 3-5 business days. It had already been 6 business days. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they were in a meeting so I left a message requesting a call back. I waited another week and called again. This time the supervisor was at lunch. The refund hadn't been processed. After 4 calls, I finally received my refund on the 22nd. I sure wish I had read all the reviews before I ordered from them. NEVER AGAIN!!!”
“Ordered a Honda generator. Received it, put gas and oil in, followed all directions and it will not start or run. Ordered through Amazon. They only due refunds, no exchange.. fine, BUT they will not take the product back because we put gas and oil in it. The gas and oil has since been drained, how are you supposed to know if it works if you can't put the gas and oil in it. Out over $1, 100.00 this company is a rip off do not buy from them. So now we are stuck with a generator that does not work and cannot be returned. And of course the return policy on Amazon doesn't say don't put gas or oil in it first, again how are you going to know if it runs if you can't put gas or oil in it.”
“They promise $10 off for the first time order, but never get it. I would never get the email to click on the link to get the discount, so when i email them about it they told me to order first then call them so they can apply the discount. When I was ready to order it i decided to call but the guy that answered told me it was only for item over $100. No where I looked said it was only for $100 orders.”
“This company is a joke, I ordered a part for $1770.00 Dent puller machine and I received a tractor seat for maybe $50.00. I called about 20 times talked to two supervisors and after two weeks from collecting my money! the answer was that UPS Does not deliver to my address & they cancelled the order and have not received my money yet!!!
But UPS can deliver only the Wrong Item not the correct!!!!
This company is the worst I dealt with, they treat you with a major lack of professionalism.
Do not get fooled by their reviews! I did and I was proven wrong!!
Stay a way from this company....”
“I purchased these tools that didn't work well but, sauce I don't use them often I figured I'd just charge the batteries and try another time. After the holidays l noticed they were really not working correctly. So, I requested an exchange within the Amazon return/exchange timeframe window. The seller would not send me the exchange... Twice requested. The exchange order status kept saying it was delayed via numerous email (I still have the emails) but, then the exchange request/order just disappeared from Amazon. Total scam and they know how to skirt around bad reviews and play the Amazon loopholes.”
“They put a hold on my order and when they finally released the order they over billed me!
I placed an order for $2800.35 and was billed $3,815.40. That is a difference of $1,015.05 and their effort to right the situation was extremely disappointing.
I am a startup business and I was counting on those funds for job materials and the tools to get started on the job. This has put me behind schedule with my clients and I am losing face within my small community; these can be fatal issues for a start up company like mine!
I guess the moral of the story is buy it at your local store and don't ever make big purchases online.”
