“I am excited about Micro one. I like doing projects with them although there are many problems with communication. The client stopped the project and I was off boarded. I understand the off boarded part the project is paused but I should have heard it from Micro 1 itself. I am applying for other positions so I am interested if you would like to help me get another project. The communications was not directed to the right people I wasnt able to access several platforms and I was locked out of email. It took me two weeks to get on a platform for the project and I had to work alot off of the clock so I could stay in the know. I am a project manager and I would love to Help Micro one with organizing their projects they lack in that area and it will eventually cause their projects to fail. I welcome a chance to help them. “Crossing Hurdles did a good job towards Snorkel AI, but I feel the communication could be much better. Apart from this, for Handshake AI, nobody from Crossing Hurdles replying to my emails as my payment is pending for tasks which I have done on Handshake AI in August. There is need for improvement in such things.”
“When I first got in touch with the team, the email had some really good info that helped me get what the project was all about and how to get started. But the Google Meet sessions? Those could definitely be way better. Instead of Google Meet, maybe the manager should use Zoom to keep things more organized. On Zoom, the host can mute people and has a lot more tools to run the onboarding meeting smoothly.
Also, getting paid for finished tasks needs to be quicker. I get that there's a lot going on behind the scenes, but at least there should be clear payment dates. That way, an annotator can work without stressing about when they'll get paid.
Sometimes, clients flag annotators for no good reason, like accusing us of using LLMs, which really isn't cool.
To sum it up, the emails were great and super informative. The meetings need a lot of work, and the payment schedule needs to be much clearer.”
